Hefei Industry and Trade School, formerly known as Anhui Labor Bureau Technical School, was established in 1952. 1958 was renamed as Hefei No.1 Technical School, later renamed as Hefei Industrial School, Anhui Industrial and Trade School (formerly Hefei Industrial School) and Hefei Industrial and Trade School, and became the first batch determined by Anhui Provincial Government in 2005. Now Hefei Industry and Trade School covers an area of 38,000 square meters, with a building area of 28,500 square meters. It has modern teaching facilities and equipment, including various training rooms, standardized classrooms, multimedia classrooms, language labs, computer rooms, libraries and sports venues. From the school history, Anhui Labor Bureau Technical School, founded in 1952, is one of the predecessors of Hefei Industry and Trade School. After decades of development, Hefei Industry and Trade School has become a modern school integrating vocational education, high school education, adult education and skills training, which has trained a large number of talents and made contributions to social and economic development.
