Jai Zhigang, male, born in October 1966, Heilongjiang Longjiang County people, enlisted in the army in June 1985, graduated from the Air Force Third Flight Academy in 1989, served as a division of the Air Force Aviation Force fighter pilots, safe flight 950 hours, was named the first-class pilot of the Air Force. In January 1998, he officially became one of the first batch of astronauts in China, and in 2003, he was selected as a member of the astronaut echelon of China's first manned space flight; in June 2005, he was selected as a member of the echelon of the manned flight crew of Shenzhou VI. He is now a second-class astronaut of the People's Liberation Army Astronaut Brigade, a deputy division, and in May 2008, he was selected as a member of the Shenzhou VII astronaut crew.
