She lost 34 kilograms in training for the half-marathon, transforming herself from a big mom into a hot sports mom.
Sloan claims to have spent her whole life worrying about her appearance and how others would perceive her, and in 2010, when she gave birth to her second baby and started a new position, she was faced with a big problem in her life - the candle burned at both ends of the candle between her work and her life, and she couldn't adjust to it. The company's main goal is to provide the best possible service to its customers, so that they can enjoy the best of both worlds," he said.
During this period of "abandonment", Sloane thought every day, "I'll be better tomorrow! This thought only made her lazy to pursue a better life every day, until she met her best friend Carla in 2014. Carla knew that Sloane really wanted to lose weight, so one day she asked, "How are you going to train for a half-marathon?" Sloane didn't know how to say no at that moment, and she was pushed to the pit before she made up her mind to make a change, and from then on, she went to the bottom of the pit and never wanted to climb out.
Beginning in March of that year, Carla took Sloane to the local high school playground to practice running, and she ran as slow as a turtle and panted like a cow. But it got better every day, and by that summer, Sloane was running up to a 5K at an average pace of about 37 minutes, and every time she noticed she was losing weight, she was once again trying to break a PB (personal best); by the fall, she had begun training for the first half-marathon of her life.
As she prepared for the half-marathon, she also took part in a full-body training program that included both cardio and heavy training, which worked wonders for her in terms of running performance and leanness, and she continued to build muscle and lose fat through running and full-body training until she lost 34 pounds.
In May 2015, Sloane and Carla ran together in the Flying Pig Half-Marathon, where Sloane made her own first-half-marathon goal of 2 hours, 26 minutes and 40 seconds. first half-marathon goal.
Since reaching her first half-marathon, Silom has run multiple half-marathons each year as well as the 100 Day Running Challenge, which includes a mountain half-marathon in the heat of the summer. Her current PB is 2 hours 06 minutes 04 seconds, and her goal for her next half-marathon is the same as many female runners: to break 2.
As she practiced running, Sloane learned to eat less unhealthy food (pictured here in context, not in person)
In the years since she started exercising, she has also been working on her diet to lose weight. She's a food lover, and junk food is her favorite, but she learned to eat less unhealthy food during her running practice, and used a diet app every day for three years.
"I can confidently say that if I can do it, you can! Sloan says that regardless of age or what it takes to reach the goal, the mind has to be determined and ready to change, and there's no turning back once you start. Running is the best way to relieve stress, and every time you finish a race, whether it's near or far, you will get pure joy and satisfaction. For Sloane, starting to run has brought her the joy of growth, confidence, and a whole new closet!
