Title: Desert Camel

Sung by: Zhanzhan and Rollo

Music: Zhanzhan and Rollo

I'm going to travel through the desert.

I'm going to cross this desert to find my true self

Only a camel is with me

This wind is blowing, and that cloud is drifting by

Suddenly there's a river of love

I'm going to get on a boat in the desert, with a pipe and an hourglass on my back

A jug of wine in my hand

The long, long, old road is so long, and I can't talk about all the joys and the sorrows

Only that camel is still running around

It's just the same. The camel is still busy

What ghosts and legends, what demons and devils

Only the heron eagle is singing

The yellow sand swept through the sky, walking in every corner

Walking in the endless starry river

The day and night are intertwined, so alluringly graceful

Wasted time and wasted self

Front of us, there are too many lost paths. There are so many lost paths, but you have to be persistent to be free

Out of the darkness, you can be free and happy

I looked for the desert oasis, and there was a mirage

I felt like I could see her waiting there

I remembered her tenderness, and it burnt my chest

Lost in the pot of last night's wine

I put on the big shoes, and I crossed the cold wilderness

I felt like I had to go through the wilderness

I felt like I had to go through the wilderness

I felt like I had to go through the wilderness. p>

I feel like I'm traveling to another world

Composition Background

"Desert Camel" was written by Shi Zhan and Luo Luo. Shi Zhan formed his first band at the age of 15, started writing songs and met his mentor Xu Tiansheng. Xu Tiansheng gave him a "proposition" to compose a melody in a harmonic minor key, which was part of the intro to "Camel in the Desert".

After finishing the title track and the C section of the song, Zhan Zhan met Luo Luo and the two began working together.

Zhanzhan and Luo Luo set an inspirational tone when they wrote the song's lyrics, which took four months of constant overturning and rewriting to complete. When they recorded the song, all they had was an old computer, a 1,000-dollar sound card and a 200-dollar microphone, and because they weren't familiar with recording software, they didn't even fix the pitch at a later stage.
