The 33rd Macau International Music Festival (MIMF), one of the top music festivals of the year, will be held from October 4th to 30th! With the theme of "Instrumental Potential", this year's festival brings 17 exciting performances in 22 shows, sharing the beauty of music with the public with majestic and dynamic notes!

This grand opening begins with Mozart's two-act opera "The Magic Flute" by the great master of classical music. This fantastical opera takes the audience into a fantastical magical dream world with an innovative performance format that turns tradition on its head. A co-production of the Berlin Opera and the British 1927 Theater Company, the production combines cinematic animation and live singing.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the premiere of Xian Xinghai's masterpiece "The Yellow River Cantata, Sons of Macao", and to coincide with the momentous occasion of the double celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China*** and of the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, the Macao Orchestra, The NCPA Orchestra and Chorus*** together present the grand finale, a concert of Chinese works with a great sense of history and the times, which will bring the festival to a successful conclusion.
