The sky is so clear when I am ten years old, and the sunshine is so bright when I am ten years old. Waiting and looking forward to it, my tenth birthday is finally here. Today I am ten years old! In order to celebrate our tenth birthday, the teachers held a growth ceremony for everyone. The event took place on the "Children's Day". I was so excited that I couldn't help but jump up! The activities of the coming-of-age ceremony were really rich and colorful, including poetry recitation, love poems, cucurbit flute playing, recorder playing, and eating growth cakes... The most unforgettable thing for me was eating growth cakes.
All the performances are over and I can’t wait for the cake to arrive. After a while, the cake was delivered to the classroom. My eyes suddenly lit up. Forty small cakes with our names on them were handed to us one by one. Looking at the exquisite packaging box, I can already imagine the exquisiteness and deliciousness of the cake. There is a circus painted on the packaging box, with humorous clowns, cute little lions, beautiful puppies and silly brown bears. They are happily performing acrobatics! Many students think this small cake is a long cake, and I am no exception. In fact, sometimes the eyes can deceive you. After a while, a super big cake was carried to the table, wow! It turns out that this is the real growth cake! The cake is wrapped in a green decorative box with a big bow on it. It’s so beautiful! Our whole class opened the packaging box together. I was so excited and really looking forward to its taste! We all had beautiful smiles on our faces. The teacher blew out the 10th birthday candles on our behalf and cut the cake. It was time to distribute the cakes, and the students rushed forward. Some were taking pictures with their mothers' mobile phones, some were holding paper plates and forks, and some were squeezing forward desperately to get the cake as early as possible, and they almost fell on the cake. Almost all the students gathered around the cake. The teacher quickly maintained discipline and gave us cakes. I gave the first bite of the cake to my mother because she raised me for ten years and I should learn to be grateful. At this time, some students were eating cakes, some were playing happily, and some were laughing. The whole scene was very lively!
