History
Qin Zhixindu County. According to "Yuanhe County Records", in the 11th century BC, King Cheng of Zhou sealed Ji Tho, the fourth son of the Duke of Zhou, as the Marquis of Xing, and set up the state of Xing Hou. In 661 B.C., when the strong Di violated Xing, Xing moved its capital to Yiyi (near the present-day West Pulp Water Village in Xingtai County), where the Xing Marquis built a Xingtai. The Historical Records of China - Zhao Shijia (《史记-赵世家》) reads, "In the twentieth year of Marquis Cheng's reign, Wei offered the Rong rafters, which were thought to be the Tangtai." Song Xuanhe two years (1120 years), that is, this place was originally under the jurisdiction of the Xing State and the construction of the sandalwood platform (Xingtai), so Longgang County was renamed Xingtai County.
