"Mounting step" is also called "mountain step", which is the basic dance step for break dance, disco, hip-hop, Latin dance and other dances. It mainly uses the rebound force generated by the feet to push the ground, bending the knees and raising the thighs, continuously rhythmic and elastic Pedaling, combined with the movements of the upper limbs and trunk, creates a mountaineering body shape.

Basic footwork for mountain climbing:

1. Uphill footwork.

When starting uphill, you must slow down and follow the rule of taking a breath, taking a step, then exhaling, and taking another step; if you follow this method to climb a steep slope, If you feel out of breath after taking a few steps, you should shorten your steps and then continue to follow the breathing steps mentioned above.

If you don’t need to rest for two or three hours while walking on a steep slope at the beginning, it means you have successfully mastered the Qi Regulating Footwork. Of course, when climbing a steeper slope and carrying a heavier backpack, you need to take a small step upwards by inhaling and exhaling; in addition, it should be noted that you need to take a deep breath when inhaling, so that not only the air supply can be increased , you can also regulate your Qi better, and the chance of altitude sickness will be reduced.

2. Rest footwork.

In this gait, every time you take a step forward, the back foot must be straightened. Only by straightening the upper and lower legs can the weight be fully supported by the legs, so that the muscles of the upper and lower legs can be relaxed. On the contrary, the knees are never straight, and of course the muscles are easily overtired and even thigh cramps may occur.

3. Footwork for going up and down gravel slopes.

On gravel slopes that are not too steep, the soles of the shoes need to be completely in contact with the slope of the gravel slope, so that the maximum friction can be used to walk on the gravel slope easily and effortlessly. If you encounter a steep gravel slope, you can use the strength of your big and small legs to push the shoes flatly into the gravel slope and then move up. When going downhill, you can use the power of pressing your heels down to create a foothold on the gravel slope before continuing downhill.
