The peach and plum blossoms in the eastern part of the city of Luoyang, to whom do they fly and fall?
The daughter of Luoyang cherishes her colors, and sits and sighs when she sees the fallen flowers.
This year's blossoms have changed their color, but next year's blossoms will not be the same.
We have already seen the pine and cypress destroyed, and heard that the mulberry fields have become the sea.
The ancient people no longer east of Luocheng, today's people are still on the wind of falling flowers.
The flowers are similar every year, but the people are different every year.
This is the first time I've ever seen a woman in her prime, and I've never seen her in her prime.
It is a pity that this man has a white head, but I used to be a beautiful young man with a red face.
The king's son, the king's grandson, is under the tree, and he sings and dances in front of the falling flowers.
The Kuanglu Pond and the General's Pavilion are the most beautiful and the most beautiful of all.
When I was sick, I didn't know each other, but who was there for me in the spring?
How long will it take for the mothers to turn their eyebrows, and how long will it take for their hair to fall out of place?
But in the ancient times, only the birds and birds at dusk were sad.
Appreciation
The title of this poem varies from one anthology to another. In Tang Yinyin, Tangshi Gui, Tangshi Pinhui, and Quantangshi, it is written as "Generation of Sorrow for the White-Headed Weng". In Literary Garden Yinghua, Lefu Poetry Collection, and Rhyming Language Yangqiu, it is written as Bai Tou Yin (White Head Yin). You Jang's All-Tang Poetry composes the "White-Headed Weng" (White-Headed Weng Wing). The poem "White Heads Singing" is an old Lefu title, belonging to the "Songs of Harmony - Chu Tune Song", which was written by a woman to express her determination to her lover who abandoned her. Although Liu Xiyi's poem is a mock ancient musical composition, it is well conceived and opens up a whole new context.
"The peach and plum blossoms in the east of the city of Luoyang, to whom do they fly and fall?" The first two lines of the poem depict the twilight spring scenery east of the city of Luoyang. Luoyang was the eastern capital of the Tang Dynasty, and was very prosperous; the prosperous city was full of colorful flowers, full of spring colors, vibrant, intoxicating. However, time passes easily, at this time in Luoyang is already the season of falling flowers, peaches and plums flying, I do not know where to float.
These two lines are the beginning of the poem. The following lines express the longing for and attachment to the beautiful spring scenery and the beautiful young women, and the sadness and regret for the falling of peach and plum blossoms and the easy passing of youth, all of which are born from this.
"Luoyang daughter good color" the following ten lines, write the young Luoyang daughter in the face of the sky fluttering flowers out of infinite feelings. The daughter of Luoyang's sentimental, in fact, by the changes in nature and associated with the shortness of beauty and the limited life of human beings. "The color of this year's flowers has changed, but who will be there next year when the flowers bloom?" It expresses the psychological feeling of lamenting the aging of the red face and the impermanence of life because of the passing of the spring light. The sentence "Pines and cypresses are destroyed for salary" is from "Nineteen Ancient Poems - The Day of the Goer is Sparse": "Ancient graves are plowed into fields, and pines and cypresses are destroyed for salary." The phrase "Mulberry fields become the sea" refers to the land turning into the sea, which is from "Biography of the Immortals - Magu": "Magu said that since her reception, she has seen the East China Sea turning into a mulberry field." These two lines use simile to visualize that world affairs have changed a lot. "The ancient people no longer east of Luocheng, now people still to the wind of the falling flowers" reveals that life is easy to pass away, the universe eternal objective law. The two lines of "the flowers are similar year after year, and the people are different year after year" are a beautiful, smooth and neat pair of lines that focus on the lamentation of the impermanence of youthfulness, rich in poetic mood and philosophical, and have been widely recited.
The following ten lines of the poem "Sending a message to the red-faced son in full bloom" summarize the experience of Baigou Weng's life. The white-headed old man was once a beautiful young man, and in the old days he used to sing and dance under the trees and in front of the flowers with the princes and grandchildren. The two lines of "Guanglu Jiutai Wen Jinxiu" express the rich life of Baigou Weng with the luxury and extravagance of the powerful ministers and relatives in history. However, once he was sick and senile, no one paid attention to him, and he had to give up his three springs of pleasure to others. By describing the life of Baigouweng from beauty to old age and from amusement to loneliness, this paragraph not only expresses the poet's fondness and longing for the youthful beauty and beautiful songs and dances, and his pity and sympathy for the old Baigouweng, but also further expresses his feeling for the transience of beauty and the finiteness of life, which strengthens the artistic and philosophical power of the poem.
The concluding four lines point out the main idea and conclude the poem. The two lines lament the beauty of the girl will turn into a gray-haired old woman, regretting that it is difficult to stay young. "But look at the ancient land of song and dance, only dusk birds and birds sad" two lines, everything is like a cloud of smoke, quickly disappeared! In the past, the prosperous and bustling playground, now only a few outlying birds in the cold twilight in a few miserable chirping.
If the birds are like this, how can people be embarrassed? The last word of the last line, "sad", is the tone of the poem.
The feelings expressed by the poet in The White-Headed Bird in Sorrow, though sad, are not decadent, for the poet is thinking seriously about life, and longing and longing for the beauty in life.
