Lyrics of the square dance in the farmhouse yard

I am a 50-year-old female, retired from my enterprise, with a monthly pension of more than RMB 1000. When I just retired, I just wanted to stay at home and rest. I couldn't stand staying at home for three months, so I found a job soon.

When my son was six years old, I got divorced, and I was brought up by myself. Only I know the hardships and sadness of this process. Fortunately, my son was sensible since childhood and was admitted to the university. Afraid that I was alone, my son chose to go back to work in the county after graduating from college, and later he was admitted to a public institution in the county.

After my son worked, I took out all my savings for many years and provided a commercial house in the county. My son paid the monthly mortgage.

When I first retired, I wanted to work hard for most of my life until my son grew up and had a stable job. Although the pension received now is less than 2000 yuan, it will gradually increase. I have bought enough medical insurance for 20 years, and there is nothing to worry about. I can rest at home.

So I carefully prepared three meals a day, waited for my son to have dinner together after work, and went to the square dance with my good sisters in the evening. When I have time, I will also visit some relatives who have no time to go to work.

I don't have to go to work every day, and I get bored after staying at home for less than three months.

Many people in their early fifties are either working or taking care of their grandchildren at home. Two female colleagues who retired with me chose to continue to work after retirement. One was a housekeeper and the other was a weigher in a supermarket. They are busier than before they retired, and they never see anyone at all.

Many of my relatives live in the countryside, not during the Spring Festival. When I go to their home, they are always busy with farm work. I went once or twice, and I felt embarrassed to see them leave their farm work to accompany me.

I am in good health and don't like traveling and playing mahjong. I have nothing to do except three meals a day during the day. Every time my son comes back, I pull him to talk. There is a generation gap with young people at this age, and his son is no exception. Slowly, my son thinks I'm too nagging.

Retirement is really more boring than going to work. Although work is bound, a bunch of colleagues, besides doing things, are chatting and have a regular life. It's annoying to retire for three months.

My son saw me sighing every day and asked me to find something to do. Don't stay at home all day and get sick. I want to find some relaxing jobs to kill time.

It happened that a classmate's work unit canteen recruited people to help him as a chef, wash vegetables and dishes, and cook for employees. The canteen has two meals a day, breakfast and lunch. Clean up after lunch and you can get off work around two o'clock.

I dragged my classmates into the canteen to work. Working hours are not long and I am not tired. I am in good health now and have no pressure to do it.

My son has no problem with my work. He thinks I'm more energetic when I come out to work, so I don't have to nag him all day. It's good.

Family members of employees working in the unit can have meals in the canteen, and the meal fee is also subsidized by half. Because we can't cook at home at work, my son and I have breakfast and lunch in the canteen, and our living expenses are also reduced.

I have bought enough social security and medical insurance. My unit earns more than 2000 yuan a month, as well as weekends and holidays. I am particularly satisfied with this job.

After lunch, you can get off work after washing dishes and chopsticks. I found that there are often half a bucket of leftovers in the canteen, which used to be poured directly into the trash can. I think it's a pity. I want to know how to use these leftovers.

When I was a child, I grew up in the countryside and always had rural feelings. I want to have a small farmhouse, grow vegetables and flowers, and raise chickens and ducks.

There are many rural areas around our county, and the distance is not far, which is five or six kilometers away from the center of the county. So I discussed with my son and rented a house with a yard and a vegetable garden in the countryside near the county seat. I can raise some chickens and ducks with leftovers from the canteen and grow some vegetables to be self-sufficient. My son was very supportive of my idea and began to ask where there were rural houses willing to rent.

I soon found out that there was a family in my son's colleague's village. The house was empty, with four bungalows and a big yard. The owner's home has been dominated by big cities for a long time, so this house is just coming back to have a look. Usually I ask my relatives in the village to take care of it.

He is also very happy to hear that we are going to rent it, so that we don't have to bother our relatives to look after it every time. His requirements are not high, and the rent of 4000 yuan a year is paid once a year. I thought the price was right, so I quickly signed a contract with the landlord.

After renting the house, I spent a few days cleaning it up. I went to the hardware store to buy a wire fence, and my son's helper built two simple sheds in the yard to raise chickens and ducks. After that, I went to the market and bought twenty chickens, in which ten ducks were raised.

Every day after work, I take the leftovers directly to the yard to feed the chickens and ducks. Slowly, I reclaimed the rest of the yard, got some vegetable fields and planted vegetables. There are several flower beds, a rhododendron tree and sunflowers along the wall.

Feed the chickens and ducks every afternoon, and plant vegetables and weed the rest of the time. A few months later, vegetables grew, loofah and beans climbed the vines, chickens and ducks crowed, and the yard became full of vitality.

In this way, I will continue to work after retirement, and my retirement salary will remain unchanged, and I can still save some of the money I earned.

At the same time, I also live in a small farmhouse, raising chickens and ducks, growing vegetables and flowers. I can't eat all my chickens, ducks and vegetables, so I will send some to my relatives and friends.

My friends also like to work in my yard when they are free. My son also joins my yard on weekends, and sometimes he brings his friends to barbecue. Even the landlord came back to see it and liked his home. He said he would come back to live like this when he was old.

I especially enjoy the days when I continue to work after retirement. He is no longer young in his early fifties, but he is not an old man either. Many people are healthy and have the ability to work. Choosing a job can not only kill time, but also increase income and reduce the burden on children.

Whether a 50-year-old middle-aged woman will continue to work or stay at home after retirement cannot be generalized, but depends on her personal situation.

50 years old is not a big retirement age, and most people are still in good health. If you don't care about your grandchildren and have no special hobbies, find a job that is not too tired. I can save more money for my children to lighten the burden, and my life will not be boring.

Anyway, after retiring at the age of 50, it is very important to take care of your health and find something to make your life full and comfortable.
