Shanhaiguan Happy Ocean Park is a high-grade, environmentally friendly and ecological city seaside park based on blue sky, blue sea and golden sand; integrating viewing, entertainment, recreation, dynamic stimulation, sports participation and science education; and themed on underwater sightseeing, water recreation, and large-scale marine mammal display and cultural performances. Visitors can not only in the park to enjoy the schools of dolphins, sea lions, beluga whales, seals, walruses, polar bears, fur seals and penguins, but also see the sea lions, dolphins, beluga whales, wonderful performance; submarine tours or dive and play with the fish, to experience the fun of roaming the seabed, exploring nature's infinite mysteries, and watch the special cultural performances and high-grade large-scale cultural performances.
The park is divided into five main functional areas.
1. Happy Bay Area
Including the water surface of nearly 100,000 square meters of artificial bay, the size of two islands in the bay is the world of marine mammals.
●Oceanarium: building area of 1,800 square meters, water area of 1,200 square meters, water depth of 5-7 meters, circulating water volume of 8,000 tons, not only the largest scale in China, but also the only real built under the sea level of the "underwater world", is the representative of the latest domestic oceanarium. In front of the 24-meter-long and 3.5-meter-high acrylic panel window, visitors are like being in the depths of the ocean, and can watch multiple varieties of rare marine fish and "fish beauty" underwater performances; tourists, if they are interested in, you can also put on the scuba diving equipment, experience diving and roaming the depths of the ocean's wonderful feelings.
●Sharks: Here visitors can watch more than ten types of sharks, such as great white sharks, sand tiger sharks, hammerhead sharks, ragged tooth sharks and ploughsharks, nearly a hundred sharks, but also to watch divers feeding and sharks fighting for food in a spectacular scene.
●Seal Bay: Nearly 100 spotted seals are bred, and visitors can feed them in a special area or wear diving suits to play with them while watching.

●Undersea Tunnel: built 2 meters below sea level, 15 meters long and 6 meters wide. Here visitors can experience the feeling of walking under the sea and see many marine animals.
●Sea Theater: The theater is open and integrated with the natural environment, and can accommodate 2,800 visitors at the same time to enjoy the wonderful performances of 2 sea lions, 4 dolphins and 2 beluga whales.
●Submarine Sightseeing: There are 10 semi-submersible sightseeing submarines with a crew of 50 in the Happy Bay, the first of its kind in China.
2. Water playground area
