Ginseng Rice is the name of a snack in Changsha, and we took this name with Hunan characteristics in the hope that any Hunanese can easily pronounce and remember our name, so that the name will become a synonym for street dance in Hunan
The troupe was founded in 2002, and has been in operation since then. p>The troupe was founded in 2002.... The aim is to make a place for Hunan street dance in the country and better develop Hunan hiphop culture. It is the first comprehensive strength dance group in Hunan Province and the first DANCER group in Hunan, which has been leading the style and development of Hunan HIPHOP dancers. Each member of the troupe not only has their own unique views and styles in music and dance, but also has a strong sense of group consciousness and full of expressive power. The Ginseng Meter Dance Group has represented the direction of Hunan's Hip Hop scene. It represents the highest level of Hunan hiphop dancers. In order to promote the development of Hunan's HIPHOP culture, the troupe has organized the largest HIPHOP festival in Hunan Province. In order to promote the development of HIPHOP culture in Hunan Province, the group has planned the biggest HIPHOP PARTY in Hunan Province for many times, and also acted as a judge for many competitions. In 2005, in order to better promote HIPHOP DANCE and the formalization of street dance teaching, the troupe funded the establishment of the first professional street dance studio in Hunan Province - Ginseng Rice Street Dance Studio. With the continuous development and expansion of the dance group, has developed to more than 20 people, including HIPHOP, JAZZ, POPPIN, BREAKING four main branches.
