Qianjiang is a municipality directly under the central government of Hubei Province, located in the south-central part of Hubei Province, in the hinterland of the Jianghan Plain. (1) Xinglong Water Conservancy Scenic Area
Xinglong Water Conservancy Project is located in Gaoshibei Town, Qianjiang City, Hubei Province and Dobao Town, Tianmen City, Hubei Province. It is one of the three main projects of the South-to-North Water Diversion Center Line, and also one of the four major compensation projects of the center line. It is known as "the first dam in China's plains" and "China's Tennessee Project". The main task of the project is to raise the water level of the Xinglong reservoir area during the dry season, improve the water diversion conditions of the irrigation areas on both sides of the river and the Han River navigation conditions, taking into account the power generation. Xinglong water conservancy hub is a set of engineering landscape, water resources, ecological wetlands as one of the tourist attractions.
Metasequoia is planted along the Xinglong River, where the ecological forest is a bright landscape of the Qianjiang River. From the air, two broad forest belts, one water and two roads, like a jade belt inlaid in the Qianjiang land, changing with the seasons. Among them, walking along the river, the 50-year-old sequoias rise up to the sky and stand side by side on both sides of Xinglong River. It is as majestic and neat as an honor guard, with the same posture, the same standing, amazingly beautiful.
(2)Qianjiang Forest Park
Qianjiang Forest Park from Qianjiang City, take the No. 2 bus along Zhanghua Avenue to the south, the terminal is the Forest Park Station Square. But you can see the forest trees, covering the sky; however, when the birds sing, it is clear and peaceful. This is Qianjiang Forest Park.
Qianjiang Forest Park is located at No. 1, Liu Ling Street, Shiyang Office, covering an area of about 1,500 acres. It is a plains forest park that focuses on forest landscape and integrates recreational functions.
The Mausoleum of Cao Yu is an important cultural landscape of Qianjiang Forest Park, covering an area of more than 20 acres, consisting of pagodas, tunnels, statues and Cao Yu's tomb. The mausoleum was built in 1997, and some of Mr. Cao Yu's ashes are placed in Cao Yu's tomb, which is an important part of the city's Cao Yu cultural resources. In addition, Sequoia Forest, Poplar King, Dancing Heron Forest, Original Red Mountain, Forest Garden, Cultural Stone Appreciation, etc. are all good places for sightseeing in the forest park.
