On the morning of May 15, 18, a young man came to Bald Four Brother's wine warehouse, holding a tourism-related promotional folders, thinking that I do not know where to run to the salesman, unconsciously labeled "shopping tours". I was approached by a young man who was eager to talk to me, and I agreed with him in two minds. The bald guy who was busy at the liquor store said, "This guy is also a neighbor of the district. So a little more trust in the boy, out of interest in the business model, began to understand his company's tourism program.
The guy recommended the Yuhui travel card, there are three biggest features: 1, 1 person with a card, two free; 2, 1680 yuan annual card, unlimited travel at home and abroad. 3, in addition to the round-trip transportation costs, tickets, food and drink, and other costs are free of charge. There are such good things? Either the father, or rip-off. In Mr. Ju's invitation, I went to his private tea room with my brother. We were in the east and Mr. Ju was in the west. There were no mountains to cross, no demons or ghosts. While lamenting the hardships of the Tang Monk and his disciples on their way to fetch the scriptures, the subway line 2 that we were riding on shuttled us underground and took us straight to Mr. Ju's downstairs. Waiting for us was Mr. Ju's story of Buddha, tea and life.
Mr. Ju's tea room is located in Songzhi Wanxiang City, and when we arrived at the door, we found the doorknob hanging down, obviously broken. "Knock knock knock" a forty-year-old man opened the door to us, a not tall, small eyes, light eyebrows, bright forehead, short hair, full of yellow teeth, but also wear a pair of glasses, a little bit of a mismatch, neither like a tycoon nor like a social brother, he is exactly the main character of the story, Mr. Ju Zefeng, a Buddhist disciple of the poems and books and Zen tea, and a secluded city of the marketing guru.
Mr. Ju guided us into the tea room, which is not big, but you can enjoy a clean place. On the east side, a plaque with the words "Yunshui Zenxin" hangs; on the south side, there is a display of tea leaves and utensils against the wall; on the west side, there is a pile of tea water packaged in a green snakeskin bag on the ground; on the north side, there is a calligraphy table; and in the center, there is a north-south oriented tea table against the east side. Mr. Ju was sitting east to west, and my fourth brother and I were doing west to east, looking at each other, the tea had been brewed, and the story was slow.
The Buddhist Encounter
In 2016, Mr. Ju went with a friend to visit the depths of Dabie Mountain, and the friend said that there were temples on the mountain, so he yelled and went to visit them. Unexpectedly, he went astray, and when he was at the end of the road, he looked up and saw the Buddha's destiny (temple), which can be said to be the same as a different path, so Mr. Ju converted to Buddhism. From then on, studying Buddhism, tasting tea, composing poems, and working gradually replaced the fights in the business world. Every time Mr. Ju went to a place to pray to Buddha, he would compose a poem, and he has composed more than twenty poems so far. Maybe because I don't have deep roots, I can't remember the details clearly, but the general feeling can be replaced by a poem: "Picking chrysanthemums in the southeast, leisurely seeing the south mountain." While we were talking, we had already tasted five or six kinds of tea, and I couldn't wait to urge Mr. Ju to tell the story of his entrepreneurship.
Starting a business
Before 2002, Mr. Ju worked for a newspaper under the Anhui Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, responsible for advertising. Once a Wenzhou owner of a geriatric product needed to open up the Hefei market, he asked Mr. Ju to do some planning. Mr. Ju planned a marketing campaign similar to a square dance competition, which became a hit and sold a lot of products. Mr. Ju's Wenzhou boss then invited him to take over the national market in Wenzhou. Mr. Ju hesitated for a long time because he was obsessed with the iron rice bowl. Then a chance incident stimulated Mr. Ju. His cousin could not find a job in Hefei, so he went to study computer design for three months on Mr. Ju's recommendation. Afterwards, his cousin went to Wenzhou with his relatives and earned a monthly salary of 4,000 yuan, while Mr. Ju's salary was only 1,200 yuan at that time. The difference in income greatly stimulated Mr. Ju, and he resigned from his job and went into the sea and accepted his boss's offer from Wenzhou. Mr. Ju's four career paths, three in Wenzhou and one in Hefei, were followed.
The Wenzhou boss was eager to hire Mr. Ju, and hired him at a high salary. Mr. Ju took the bold step of splitting the company's structure, which was unified to operate four products, and set up four business divisions for separate operation, settlement and investment. Afterwards, through a well-planned investment campaign, the company's annual sales soared from 50 million to 200 million, and he himself took the position of the second-in-command. However, the good times didn't last long, and with the upsurge in sales, the company's production and management were seriously out of sync. The Wenzhou owner brought in another big disciple of Chen Anzhi from Taiwan to take charge of the company's management and gradually overshadowed Mr. Ju, who resigned in anger. However, this professional experience led him to meet the resources of the local media industry, which laid the foundation for his own business later on.
After his resignation, Mr. Ju was immediately recognized by another owner of a digital city, and took full responsibility for the investment of the computer city. (Because of the phone call, this paragraph did not listen to all). The investment was very successful, and Mr. Ju got to know a lot of small business owners in the cybercity. After that, Mr. Ju retired and started his first business.
Through his two experiences as a professional manager, Mr. Ju was able to connect with the media and the small business owners. So Mr. Ju combined his expertise to help small business owners in Cyber City to solve the one-stop service from planning to printing of advertisements. At that time, there were not many advertising agencies that specialized in advertising, and even fewer that did planning and advertising together. Mr. Ju's advertising share once occupied 70% of the paper media in Wenzhou.
When Mr. Ju's career was in full swing, a change in his father's life caused him to give up his career in Wenzhou and return to Hefei. After dealing with his family, a long-time friend approached him and quietly told him about a good project. So they went together to the deep forests of Guizhou, to study the traditional way of eating fish of the Miao people. After three months of intensive research, they combined modern technology to create the "seven seconds fish" restaurant brand. So the test in Guiyang, a great success, and then introduced into Anhui, advanced Bengbu, and then to Hefei, through a million yuan for the name of the marketing activities, "seven seconds of fish" catering brand fire in the province.
At present, Mr. Ju has handed over the business of Seven Seconds Fish to his partner, in addition to practicing Zen and sipping tea to sharpen his mind. Mr. Ju also runs the Yuhui Travel program, which I mentioned in my previous post about the Yuhui Travel Card. At that time, I also raised two questions: First, how can such a cheap annual card guarantee the quality of travel and profitability? Secondly, Mr. Ju is already rich and free, why does he still want to do travel? Mr. Ju answered that the quality of the trips is taken care of by the local brand travel agencies, and the profitability is mainly based on the volume of customers sent to the tourist destinations, and on the subsidies from the local government and the rebates from the hotels. For customers it is equivalent to getting wholesale prices. Mr. Ju concluded that he still has a dream of being a B&B, and now at this age, he is looking for another possibility in his life to transform into a tourist.
In just over two hours, Mr. Ju showed us the most wonderful story of his life, which is the pain of growing up. All those who are born upward will continue to sculpt themselves, turning from an outward search to an inward one, which is an inevitable process.
