Introduction of Yusheng Zhang:
Yusheng Zhang (nicknamed: Xiaobao, Tom Zhang, June 7, 1966-November 12, 1997) was born in Magong City, Penghu County, Taiwan Province of China. Graduated from the Department of Foreign Affairs of National Chengchi University, he is a male singer, musician and producer in Taiwan, China.In 1988, he formed his own band, Metal Boy; he gained attention for his performance of "My Future is Not a Dream" in the same year.
In 1989, he released his debut album "Thinking of You Everyday".In 1990, he was nominated for the Best New Artist Award at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.In 1992, he gained popularity with the song "The Sea".On October 20, 1997, he was involved in a car accident on his way back to Danshui; he passed away on November 12 at the age of 31.In 2017, he was awarded the Special Contribution Award at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.
