Travel in Europe (4) Malm?, Sweden

Malmo is located on the east bank of the Oresund in southern Sweden, at the mouth of the Baltic Sea. It is the third largest city in Sweden, facing the Danish capital Copenhagen across the sea.

Malmo has a unique geographical position and has a strong connection with Denmark since ancient times. It is said that the city was founded by Danes, and Malm? was once the place where Denmark and Sweden fought for a long time. Even now, Danes will choose to live in Malmo for cheaper housing, and Malmo people will choose to come to Denmark for more employment opportunities, so a large number of people travel between the two countries every day. In order to facilitate the travel of the people of the two countries, the two governments have cooperated for five years since 1995, and built a spectacular sea-crossing bridge on the Oresund River.

Now I'm sitting on the train from Copenhagen to Malmo. The train runs on this famous sea-crossing bridge. The sea is sparkling, but I have no time to take care of this beautiful scenery, because I have determined the main purpose of this trip-to see Malmo's rotating torso with my own eyes.

This white building is the landmark of Malm?, also known as the tallest building in Scandinavia. According to the travel experience provided by the reference book, when you stand on the roof and look up, you will feel that this white building is like a white dragon, hovering up and soaring into the sky.

It is after reading the above passage that I want to look up at this white dragon in person.

The train will arrive in Malmo soon. It was just after nine o'clock in the morning, and there were almost no pedestrians in the street. Very, very quiet.

Walking out of the railway station, you are greeted by Malmo Grand Square. In the center of the square stands a statue, and Swedish King Carl X's riding and whipping posture is fixed in the center of the square.

"poop-poop-",what's that noise?

A pigeon flew to the king's hat, patted its wings and immediately put them away. There was silence again.

There is a Renaissance-style building on the east side of the square, which is the city hall. There is a Gothic building on the left side of the City Hall, which is Malmo Church. But I was thinking about the white tall buildings, so I was not interested in these two buildings. I stood in the square in the center of the city and craned my neck to look far away. As a result, I found nothing.

It seems that there is still a long way to go, so let's go to church first. I can only comfort myself like this first.

"Drip-drip-drip-"What is that?

Looking up, it turned out that the water on the roof of the church merged into a trickle and poured down from the roof. Running water is scattered by the air and scattered into small drops. Under the sunlight, it is like transparent glass beads, emitting colorful light.

"Tick-tock-tock", banging on the ground.

There are altars, lecterns, baptist plates and other utensils in the church, all of which are exquisite and gorgeous. The walls of the church are painted in uniform white, creating a special quietness and adding piety to people's hearts.

The elegant and deep cello sounded and the piano echoed. The shadow of the candle is reflected on the white wall, and the shadow dances with the sound of the piano.

I remembered my white building again. When my mind moves, the quiet church is no longer quiet.

When I hurried out of the church, I found that the square in front of the church and the pedestrian street in front of the square were already full of people. Women's high heels jingled in the street, and metal knives and forks jingled in the restaurant, which was very noisy.

In this noisy sound, I strode forward, thinking only about the tall buildings in front of me, and my eyes deliberately ignored the scenery on both sides in order to save time.

After crossing the pedestrian street, I saw a cemetery. How long will it take? I'm a little discouraged. I stopped by the river in the cemetery to catch my breath. A duck swam towards me. I want to feed it with food in my bag. I looked up and suddenly found that the white building had quietly taken a head on the flat ground in front of me. I can't waste my time on ducklings for the huge white building. When the duck saw that the situation was not good, he turned and left, shaking his round ass and tail a few times.

I finally walked out of the cemetery, only to find a castle in front of me. There are few tourists in front of the castle. I comfort myself so little that there should be no need to visit. Let's go, let's go.

After walking for a few minutes, the white building suddenly jumped up. I was overjoyed, and the pace at my feet unconsciously accelerated. I saw white buildings rising and spinning in the blue sky in front of my eyes.

A few steps further, the white giant building is only a hundred steps away. I am so excited that I can hear my own heartbeat. A few more steps, and I can go downstairs.

Downstairs, I solemnly looked up, but suddenly I was disappointed to find that the tallest building in Scandinavia mentioned in this book,

Really, not high.

How did this happen? I'm so disappointed and regretful. Disappointed that the tall buildings are not high, it is a pity that I only think about the tall buildings and ignore the beautiful scenery along the way.

But it is too late to regret, and time can't go back. I can only sigh my staff here. I have a great sense of loss, but I can't say what I missed.

Man, if you set the high higher, you will set yourself lower accordingly.

Isn't life like this?

That makes sense. I forgot what I wanted to say.

In a blink of an eye, the return train started, and I sat up, waiting for the moment when the train was driving on the sea-crossing bridge in the Oresund, because I really wanted to see the scenery I had neglected when I came.

When the train is running on the bridge, the afternoon sunshine is dazzling, and the dazzling sunshine is evenly scattered on the blue sea like a handful of fine gold.

I carefully collected this lost beauty along the way.
