In 2000, sixteen-year-old Li Chengyuan became a dancer in the Art Troupe of the Political Department of the Hubei Armed Police Corps. In 2003, Li Chengyuan was admitted to the Acting Department of the Central Academy of Drama.
The first time she came into people’s sight was because of a jasmine tea commercial she shot later. With this commercial, Li Chengyuan gradually attracted the attention of industry insiders and audiences.
