"When That Day Comes", "Green Flowers in the Army", "The People's Army is Loyal to the Party", "Unity is Strength", and "I am a Soldier" are explained as follows:
A...When that day comes
When that day comes
This is one of the best works in the collection and selection of "Combat Spirit Formation Songs" conducted by the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army in 2005. "Don't worry about the motherland, don't worry about your loved ones, for the sake of victory I'm going to advance bravely..." As an uplifting and morale-boosting military song, it unreservedly displays the valiant and courageous spirit of our People's Liberation Army.

The song was written and sung by Xiao Zeng, a singer, and has become popular in the military camps by word of mouth. The lyrics of the song come from all over the country, and were compiled and synthesized by Xiao Zeng as well as Mr. Wu Songjin.
Three: "The People's Army is Loyal to the Party"
This is an army formation song written in 1960 by Xiao Min, a famous military composer, and Zhang Yongmei, a lyricist. Its rhythm is distinctive and powerful. In 1961, it was listed by the General Political Department of the Military Commission as one of the 13 songs that must be sung by the whole army.
In 1964, it was awarded the prize for music creation in the fourth All-Army Literary and Artistic Festival. From its birth to the present, the song still resounds in the motherland, and played many times in Tiananmen Square on the occasion of the major celebrations of our army. 2009 October 1 National Day parade, September 3, 2015 to commemorate the victory in the anti-fascist war and the 70th anniversary of the victory in the war of resistance against Japan parade and the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Congress of the Chinese People*** and the country, played the music again.
Four, "Unity is Strength"
"Unity is Strength" was written by Mu Hong and composed by Lu Su, and was produced in June 1943 in a small village in Huangni District, Pingshan County, Jinchahi Border Region. In order to oppose the Japanese invaders who came to the border area to seize grain and implement the crazy policy of "robbing, killing and burning everything", the Northwest Field Service Corps went deep into the vast countryside of Pingshan in Hebei and Fanchi in Shanxi to participate in the struggle. In order to cooperate with this struggle, Mu Hong and Comrade Lu Su together in about three or four days, composed a small opera "Unity is Strength" on the spur of the moment.
During the rehearsal process of this play, we all felt that the plot was OK, but we felt that it ended a bit abruptly and lacked a sense of termination. The decision was made to add an episodic finale to the play, and so the classic song "Unity is Strength" was born.
V. "I am a soldier"
"I am a soldier" is one of the famous revolutionary songs in the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China (PRC), which was composed by Lu Yuan, who was serving in the Fourth Field Army (Fourth Field) in 1950. The author believed that the song changed the discriminatory concept of "good men not becoming soldiers" in "old China". The song won the first prize in the PLA's All-Army Literary and Artistic Festival, and has since been widely published in Chinese revolutionary song publications, and is often sung at official celebrations.
