Bayi Park was converted into a national defense education theme park in 2015, bringing it closer to the name "Bayi". When I walked through the west gate, I was startled to see the giant statue of the Gate of Peace.
The statue of "Gate of Peace" is made of 18-meter-long, 8-meter-high, 1.5-meter-thick multi-layer steel plate, made of doves and olive branches, with a solemn August 1 emblem on it, symbolizing that the Chinese people will always yearn for peace, love peace, and maintain peace.
I cheerfully strolled in the park, from time to time to get some surprise, which reliefs, group carvings, especially on behalf of the heroes of all eras, vivid and lifelike. There are also display of national defense forces, equipment, scientific and technological progress in kind, but also let a person's blood boil.
There are J-6, J-7, Boom 5, J-11, except for the Boom 5 made by Hafei, the other three are in Shenyang Airlines. I've also seen the Ballistic Missile-2, the Red Flag-7-surface-to-air missiles, and now Bayi Park can simply be described as a military museum.
As it was decades ago, Bayi Park is still a place of recreation for people. The park is full of children's playgrounds, with all kinds of fitness equipment, some dancing, some running, some practicing kung fu, some playing chess, and some playing cards, all peaceful.
Everywhere in Bayi Park is neat, fresh and lush, and compared with the past, the environment here has been very different, making people feel comfortable.
Shenyang is the mainstay of the new China's national defense strength, *** and the country's eldest son, China's ordnance production of an important base, Shenyang is an important place of our country's centuries of prosperity and decline. Today, "remember history, honor the martyrs, cherish peace" has become a great joy for the people of Shenyang.
