Drunken Red Dust is a period war romance drama co-produced by Beijing Tianrun Media Company Limited and Liaoning Television, directed by Lin Zi, written by Li Xiao and Yu Miao***, and starring Zheng Xi, Chen Yanxi, Xie Yuanjiang, and Qi Zhongyang. The drama was broadcast in 2010.
The drama is set during the Anti-Japanese War, and tells the love story between Peng Haotian and Lei Jin Yi, a pair of hot-blooded youths during that turbulent era.
The male lead, Peng Hao Tian (played by Zheng Xi), grew up in an official family where his own father was friends with Wang Si's father. He is an upright, righteous and persistent man, which is shown in both his treatment of his love for Lei Jin Yi and in the revolution. Although he smokes cigarettes because of the pain of love, he also has a weak side in his character. But the righteousness of the nation makes him tenaciously overcome himself.

Synopsis:
Shanghai in the 1930s. When Pang Haotian, an officer in the National Army, is seriously wounded in a battle with the Japanese, he meets a nurse, Lei Jin Yi.
