Lu Guanting, born on July 7, 1950 in Hong Kong, China, is a Hong Kong film music composer who has been awarded the Gold Medal for Amateur Singing in 1977, and has been working as a film composer in Hong Kong since the 80's. He composed the music for the film "Half Love" in 1985, which was critically acclaimed.
