We are walking on the road, lyrics

We are walking on the road.

Lyrics: Li

Music: Li

Arranged by Li

Chairman Mao led the revolutionary ranks with great vigour.

Rush forward through thorns. Forward, forward.

The momentum of the revolution is unstoppable, move forward!

Go to victory. Three red flags fluttered in the wind,

600 million people strive to build beautiful rivers and mountains,

Vow to turn the motherland into heaven. Forward, forward.

The momentum of the revolution is unstoppable, move forward!

Go to victory. We have friends all over the world,

Our songs spread all over the world, and the revolutionary storm swept the world.

Ghosts and ghosts are in a panic Forward, forward.

The momentum of the revolution is unstoppable, move forward!

Go to victory. How wide our road is,

Our future is brilliant, and we are committed to this magnificent cause.

Infinite happiness and glory. Forward, forward.

The momentum of the revolution is unstoppable, move forward!

In the direction of victory, in the direction of victory.

production process

"We are Walking on the Road" was brewed in the spring and summer of 1962 and published in the spring of 1963. One day, Li turned on the radio and heard the song "Path" playing on the radio. Li told his wife that building socialism cannot take the socialist road, but the people should take the socialist road. After 1962, Premier Zhou Enlai and leaders of central ministries and commissions came to Shenyang for a meeting.

The Liaoning Provincial Party Committee prepared a party for him and his party. After the party, the Premier invited Anbo and Li, then Minister of Cultural Work of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee, to talk at his residence. The Prime Minister briefed them on the current economic situation of the country. The Prime Minister said that everyone should believe that the party and the state can lead the people forward.

The conversation lasted until after two o'clock in the morning. Li was very moved by this, so he wrote according to the spirit of the Premier's speech. He wanted to use the words "high spirits and high morale" in his songs. He also wrote a chorus. The title of "We are Walking on the Road" has been decided.
