How many towns are there in Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province?

Brief introduction of villages and towns

Jinxi Town: covers an area of 165 square kilometers, governs 34 villages and 4 neighborhood committees, and has a population of 75,200.

Xuqiao Town: Built in the early years of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty. It covers an area of 103 km2, governs 26 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 394 villagers' groups with a total population of 52,000.

Baili Town: Located in the northwest of Taihu County, it is adjacent to Niuzhen in the east, Beizhong Town in the west, Tommy Town in the south and Xi Zhi Town and Qian Dian Town in Yuexi County in the north. In ancient times, it was the main post station from Taihu County to yingshan county, Hubei Province. It goes downstream and reaches Taihu Lake 100 Li, hence the name "Baili". It covers an area of 96 square kilometers and has a population of 6,278 households with 24,894 people. It has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 39 1 natural village and 278 villagers' groups.

Si Qian Town: Located in the northwest of Taihu County. It covers an area of 172 square kilometers, with more than 30,000 people, and governs 32 administrative villages and 365 villagers' groups.

Xinchang Town: Located in the southeast of Taihu County, it is formed by the merger of the original Garden Township and Xinchang Town. It borders the county town in the west, Huaining in the east and Wangjiang County in the south. Area 168 km2, population 73,000, and jurisdiction over 38 administrative villages.

Beizhong Town: Located in the northwest of Taihu County. It covers an area of 182 square kilometers and has a population of 38 1 13. It administers 42 administrative villages and 473 villagers' groups.

Tianhua Town: covers an area of 188 square kilometers, with 8,426 households and 32,700 people, and governs 39 administrative villages and 357 villagers' groups.

Chengxi Township: adjacent to Susong in the west, with an area of 87 square kilometers, it governs 18 administrative villages, 245 villagers' groups and an agricultural population of 26,200.

Dashi Township: Located in the southwest of Taihu County, with an area of 103 square kilometers and a total population of 34,000, it governs 22 administrative villages and a fishing ground.
