What's the significance of the sculpture in Jinan quancheng square?

Quancheng square is about 780m long from east to west and 230m long from north to south, covering an area of 16.96 hectares. The design takes the sideline running through Baotu Spring and Jiefang Pavilion as the main axis, and the continuation of Bangpeng Street and Shuowen Road as the auxiliary axis to form a framework. Each functional area develops from west to east around the axis.

At the main entrance of the square, the solemn national flag fluttered in the wind. Under the national flag, the words "quancheng square" are engraved on the entrance sign, and "The Story of quancheng square" is engraved on the back. Celebrity forest is divided into north and south, where trees are widely planted and full of vitality. There are two groups of celebrity pavilions in the forest for tourists to rest. Celebrity forests in the north and south are wide and flat, which is a good place for cultural entertainment, celebrations and gatherings.

The large-scale steel special-shaped curved rod sculpture Spring is 38 meters high and weighs 170 tons. It rises at the intersection of the main axis of the square and the auxiliary axis of Bangpeng Street, which is rare in China. Taking the rhyme of the word "spring" in seal script, the three shapes like the ups and downs of clear spring are just in line with the creativity of Jinan City. The ground pavement pattern comes from the description of the city in historical books, with 72 springs and 4 groups of springs. Solidified "spring", the gushing spring rises from "city", which embodies the elegance of Quancheng and entrusts the infinite homesickness of Quancheng people. To the east of the main sculpture, there is a sinking transition space connecting the ground and the underground, which makes the level of the square rich and diverse. The granite-paved "Shandong territory" depicts the vast land of Qilu. Yitian Garden and Children's Paradise are built around the main sculpture, surrounded by green flowers. During Xun's demotion, they were places for the elderly and children to rest.

Just looking at the scenery, stopping and sitting, or dancing and fitness will interest you. At the intersection of the main axis of the square and the auxiliary axis of Shuowen Road, lotus sculptures and colorful laser music fountains are elegant. The music sounded, and more than 4,000 sprinklers interpreted various water features, which were static and dynamic and dazzling. The cultural corridor, such as Yuping Banwei Square, can not only have a bird's eye view of the whole square, but also be an art garden showing Qilu culture. Through the middle of the corridor, Jiefang Pavilion is close at hand, as if you were in a painting. The relief "Historical Map of Sages" is located at both ends of the promenade and at the column pestle, showing fourteen historical stories such as "Shun Li Gengshan" and reflecting the historical context of Qilu culture. Circular sculptures are displayed in the gallery, which reproduces the elegant demeanor of twelve Qilu historical celebrities such as Dashun and Confucius.
