The 30th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest will be held on September 7, 13, 21, 28 and October 1 and 5 at the Macau Tower across the sea!
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Macau Special Administrative Region and the 30th anniversary of the Fireworks Display Contest, this year, for the first time, we have invited 12 world-class outstanding fireworks teams to present 12 wonderful performances in 6 nights under the theme of "Lotus 20 Fireworks 30", spanning across the two major festivals of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day, and stretching up to the October 1st Golden Week. Golden Week, creating an unforgettable fireworks extravaganza for everyone!
According to the competition program, the 12 teams are from Malaysia, the Philippines, Portugal, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Romania, South Africa, Canada, France, China, Japan and Australia. Among them, fireworks companies from Malaysia and Australia will make their debut. Among the remaining 10 teams that have participated in the competition in Australia, seven of them have placed in the top three in the Macau International Fireworks Display Contest. The teams are experienced and strong, and we believe that the competition will be a dragon-fight.

When it comes to the best places to see fireworks in Macau, the Macau Tower is of course a must! Other popular choices include: Kwun Yum Lotus Garden, the waterfront near the Macau Science Center, Tai Chai Waterfront, Bishop's Peak and the recreational landmark "Nam Van Wun Nga Lakeside".
In order to let the audience experience the beauty of the fireworks from all angles, Radio Television Macau's Chinese channel (FM100.7) will broadcast the fireworks soundtrack in real time at 9:00 p.m. and 9:40 p.m. during each show, and the spectacle will be broadcast live on ATV's HD channel.
Fireworks Carnival
In addition to the romantic fireworks display, which will be held next to the Macau Tower from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on each race day, the event will incorporate stage performances, food and games to make this event more colorful and exciting!
Extended Activities
From September 7 to October 5, the "30th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest Concert Weekend Workshop Program" will be held on the day of the fireworks display at Wynyard Lake, Nam Van; from September 7 to October 15, the 4th Macau International Lantern Festival will be held at Wynyard Lake, Nam Van, Macau Square 1, Wynn Macau Waterfront Promenade (Saguaro). While watching the fireworks bloom, you can also experience Macau's tourism and cultural characteristics and artistic atmosphere.
In addition, MGTO plans to hold a fireworks seminar at the "Macau Contemporary Art Center, Maritime Square No. 2", inviting representatives from current fireworks technology consulting companies to introduce the manufacturing process of fireworks, the installation location of the Macau International Fireworks Display Contest, and the safety instructions, etc. The seminar will allow the public to better understand the facts behind the event. This year's Macau International Fireworks Display Contest will include two more competitions, short film production and poster design, in addition to the traditional and popular photography competition and student drawing competition.

One, Shenzhen by boat
Shenzhen Shekou Ferry Terminal and Fuyong Ferry Terminal at Shenzhen Airport have direct access to the Macau Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal and the Macau _ Chai Ferry Terminal.
Two, Shenzhen to Zhuhai and from Zhuhai to Macau.
If you go to Macau via Zhuhai, you can go through Gongbei Port and Hengqin Port in Zhuhai.

Every year, the Macau Fireworks Display is an international event. Tourists traveling to Macau during the fireworks festival are advised to book their hotels as early as possible to avoid the dilemma of being overwhelmed by the overflowing hotel rooms.
