Shanghai Disneyland, located in Shanghai's Pudong New Area, is the first Disney theme park in mainland China, the third in Asia and the sixth in the world. The park contains six theme parks: Mickey Street, Whimsical Gardens, Islands of Adventure, Treasure Bay, Tomorrowland, and Fantasyland, and will feature the largest fantasy fairy tale castle of any Disney theme park in the world.
Shanghai Disneyland embodies many elements of Chinese culture, such as the recently released "Kung Fu Panda 3" inside the animated image, which has become a cultural symbol of China, where visitors can y experience the charm of Eastern culture. After all, Japan and Hong Kong are not the mainstream when it comes to oriental culture, and Shanghai Disneyland is relevant to China's traditional connotations and history and culture, which sets it apart from Disneyland in other regions.
Shanghai Disney's biggest selling point is its incorporation of Chinese elements, with some rides customized specifically for Shanghai Disneyland as world premieres with more distinctive Chinese characteristics.
From the architectural point of view, the park's "Garden of Twelve Friends" attraction is the first of its kind in Disney's history, expressing the U.S.-based company's respect for the traditional Chinese zodiac. "The twelve Chinese zodiac signs, including the rat, ox, tiger and rabbit, will correspond to Disney's classic animated images, and are expected to become the first choice for visitors to take photos with their entire family.
Another classic Chinese landmark in the park will be the Moon Palace, a Chinese-style building that pays homage to the literati who traveled the land of China and created art, choosing the five elements of mountains, oceans, deserts, forests and rivers as its theme.
Slightly different from the Chinese elements of Hong Kong Paradise, Shanghai Paradise will make more use of Mandarin, with the entire park in Mandarin and English, while Hong Kong Paradise will be dominated by English and Cantonese dialect.
In addition to the language habits will be closer to mainland Chinese tourists, Chinese and foreign fantasy engineers involved in the design of the Shanghai Disneyland Resort disclosed for the first time, the resort's architectural style, cultural performances, dining and food will also convey the "perfect fusion of the original Disney and rich Chinese culture.
