Excerpts from the Chinese and English versions:
The tumult of thy mighty harmonies
The generosity of thy extraordinary harmonies will take from both a deep, autumnal tone,
Certainly from the forests and from me the same deep, autumnal tone will take. Sweet though in sadness. Be thou, Spirit fierce,
Sweet though in sadness. Be thou me, Spirit fierce,
My spirit! Be thou me, lend thy sharpness!
Drive my dead thoughts over the universe
Please scatter my dusty thoughts over the universe
Like wither'd leaves to quicken a new birth!
Let it be like wither'd leaves to quicken a new life!
And, by the incantation of this verse,
Oh, heed this runic verse,
Scatter, as from an unextinguish'd hearth
And let my heart be like ashes and sparks
Like wither'd leaves to quicken a new birth! p>Ashes and sparks, my words amongmankind!
Scatter, as from an unextinguished'd hearth to earth!
< p>Be through my lips to unawaken'd earth< p>Let the trumpet of a prophecy pass through my mouth< p>The trumpet of a prophecy!< p>Oh Wind,< p>Awaken the sleeping earth! Oh West Wind,If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?
Shelley wrote many excellent lyrical poems, reflecting the author's democratic ideas and fighting spirit. In his "Song to the English" he severely rebuked the English ruling class, calling them the majestic peaks and pointing out that they were parasites who exploited the English people.
The poet calls on the people to take up arms in defense of themselves :Sow --- but don't let the tyrants scavenge; Seek wealth --- don't let the crooks get started; Spin and weave --- but don't weave cotton for the lazy; forge weapons --- defend yourselves.
In addition to "Song to the English," his political lyrics include "The Masked Parade of Tyranny," a stern protest against the bloody atrocities of the bourgeois government. The people of Spain launched a revolutionary movement against alien oppression and feudal despotism, Shelley gave the Spanish people an Ode to the West Wind, a poem in which the poet encourages the working people to recognize their own power and rise up to change their situation as slaves.

Background:
Ode to the West Wind is one of Shelley's "three great odes", written in 1819. At that time, there was an upsurge of workers' movement and revolution in various European countries. The British working class, in order to fight for its right to exist, was waging a heroic struggle against the bourgeoisie, with the destruction of machines and strikes taking place one after another.
In August 1819, 80,000 workers in Manchester staged a powerful demonstration, which was brutally suppressed by the reactionary authorities, resulting in the famous Peterloo Massacre. Shelley, full of grief and indignation, wrote a long poem, "The Masked Parade of Tyranny," a solemn protest against the bloody atrocities of the bourgeois government.
Since the collapse of Napoleon's empire and the restoration of the Bourbon dynasty in France, class contradictions were exceptionally sharp, and a revolutionary struggle against the forces of feudal restoration was brewing among the people. The disintegration of Napoleon's empire also greatly facilitated the revolutionary movement of the Spanish people against alien oppression and feudal despotism, and in January 1819 the guns of armed insurrection were finally fired.
On the eve of the armed revolt, Heinrich Heine offered the Spanish people an "Ode", which sounded the trumpet for the Spanish revolution. In Italy and Greece, the national liberation movement in the ascendant, Shelley's "Ode to the West Wind" was published shortly after the two countries have also broken out in a violent armed uprising.
Faced with the revolutionary situation in Europe, Shelley was inspired and energized. At this time, triggered by the natural scene of a storm, this uncontrollable passion immediately rushed out of the chest, a flood, into an impassioned and generous singing. At this time, the poet was living in Italy, in the peak of creation.
