"Michael Jackson has supported as many as 39 charities, not only in terms of money and goods, but he often attends their related events. These include the Los Angeles AIDS Prevention Program, the American Cancer Society, the BMI Foundation, the Benevolent Fund for America's Children, the United Negro College Foundation, the 28th Street YMCA, the Sickle Cell Research Foundation of America and Volunteers of America.
