Gao Ruxing Music (1929~1971) A native of Xingxian, Jinxi

The song arose in 1956, and it has been popular in China for nearly 50 years

History:

Many people will sing the song, but very few of them know who the author is. The song's composer was the young composer Gao Ruxing, who wrote many excellent musical works in his short life. In the prime of his life, the composer was persecuted to death during the Cultural Revolution.

Born in 1929 in Xingxian County, northwest of Jin, Xingxian County is an old revolutionary area, is planting with a stiletto, do not grow crops light grass poor place. Surprisingly, in that barren land, contains a rich resource of folk songs. Gao Ruxing grew up singing many folk songs, he not only remembers the lyrics of folk songs, but also remembers the same lyrics of several different tones, several different ways of singing. He was a sheep herder, when he let go of the sheep lying in the mountains, looking at the eagle flying in the blue sky, listening to the birds singing in the bushes, often can not help but humming their own folk songs. 1944, the war of resistance against Japan is being fiercely carried out on the land of Shanxi, 14-year-old Gao Ruixing to participate in the 1200 Division "Combat Drama Club". Just to the main task of the club is to study, learning culture, learning to play the violin, his sense of music and rhythm are very strong, and then formally participated in the orchestra to play. 1950 "Combat Drama Club" accepted an important task to organize a condolence delegation on behalf of Commander He Long, Deng Xiaoping, Political Commissar to go to the condolences of the road building army in the snow and snow in Kham and Tibet in the hard fighting. The army. Meng Guibin and I led a performance team with the condolence delegation, all the way, all the way condolence performance. Gao Ruxing is the main actor, he played the violin for a while, a while to play the drums, but also tap dance. After the Erlang Mountain, Dadu River, came to Kangding City, West Kham Province, Kangding is a famous city, "Kangding Love Song" is famous all over the world. Further ahead, the snow closed the mountain, we had to standby in Kangding, he called us with a small building, said: "I and Meng Guibin co-wrote a song called 'Tibetan singing liberation army', you listen to the okay." After the song was sung, everyone applauded warmly and said it was a good song. Some said, "We have "Singing Erlang Mountain", and now we have "Tibetans Singing the People's Liberation Army". Some said, "This form of male-female duet is rare, and we are the first one." After the performance of "Tibetans Singing for the People's Liberation Army" in the road construction unit, the song soon spread throughout the country, and then won an award in the 1951 All-Army Literary and Artistic Competition. It was Gao Ruxing's debut work, which greatly inspired the 21-year-old young author.

In 1953, the Song and Dance Troupe of the General Administration visited the Soviet Union and the Eastern European countries in the name of the Song and Dance Troupe of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), with more than 170 people in the troupe. In order to show the car in foreign countries, I let Gao Ruxing responsible for organizing the whole troupe. He was enthusiastic and meticulous, the size of the car and the number of people in each car, well organized. In order to make good relations with a dozen Soviet drivers, he began to learn Russian. Moscow is full of skyscrapers, subway stations opulent, especially after listening to many singers singing folk songs and lyric songs, such as "Katyusha", "Hawthorn Tree", "distant ...... distant", "Volga Boatswain's Song", etc., and listen to Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Dvorak and other masters of the symphony recital, from Shanxi After listening to the symphony concerts of Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Dvorak and other masters, from the small world of Shanxi folk songs, he came to such a vast world of music at once, he was shocked and obsessed. He envied and worshipped the music and songs of the Soviet Union at that time, and bought all the Soviet records with his pocket money. After returning to China, he devoted himself to learning Russian, listening to the records over and over again, dressing like the Soviets, and often meeting with some Soviet students. 1961, when Sino-Soviet relations deteriorated, many comrades reminded him not to get closer to the Soviet students, but he refused to listen, saying, "We're still friendly with the Soviet people." Later, a friend secretly told him, "You're being suspected," and he said, "It's inexplicable, my head is full of notes, suspect me of what." In those days, his brain was full of notes, but not the "class struggle". From then on, he began a lifetime of bad luck, soon he was put on probation, transferred out of Beijing, leaving the Bayi Film Studio, to the Wuhan Military Region Cultural and Industrial Troupe to engage in creative work.

Gao Ruxing worked diligently at Bayi Film Studio, and in the past few years, he wrote more than 20 movie scores, such as "The Story of Fort Liu", "The River and the Mountain", "The Hui Min Detachment", and "Wildfire and Spring Breeze Fighting Ancient City". Ninety-nine Sunny Days" is the interlude of "The Story of Liu Bao" written by him at the age of 24, and this song was sung everywhere once it appeared. Later on, Huang Zongjiang, the scriptwriter, mentioned in his memories: "I (Huang Zongjiang, the scriptwriter) thought that there should be a piece of music here, and it must be a folk song, so I told Gao Ruxing, the composer, and this gave birth to a classic that has been sung for half a century---"Nine Nine Sunny Days". Jiu Jiu Yan Yang Tian". "Gao Ruxing, from the Little Eight Road, was really a genius." I felt sorry for Gao Ruxing's untimely death. "Later he wrote the episode 'Fen Shui Chang Liu' for the Beijing Film Studio which was widely circulated. It became the most popular song at that time, along with 'Nine Nine Sunny Days'.

Just after the Spring Festival, Gao Ruxing was raided and interrogated. The rebels frantically forced Gao Ruxing to confess to the crime of being a "Su Xiu agent" and the criminal purpose of writing the song "Nine Days of Sunshine". Gao Ruxing refused to admit his guilt, so they fought round the clock to force him to confess. Gao Ruxing's ribs were broken and inserted into the lungs, he endured severe pain, angrily refuted, said "this is a false accusation". Soon, the lung infection and thickening, trauma site cancer, found to be in the late stages of lung cancer. At this time, Gao Ruxing was allowed to go to the hospital to see a doctor, but had to wear handcuffs to go. He could not bear the humiliation of his character and said loudly, "I'm not going, I'd rather die." Gao Ruxing three days before his death, he let Wang Yunxia helped to a small photo studio nearby, took a picture of husband and wife. When he left, he said, "Yunxia, help me put on my uniform, pinned on the cap badge, collar badge, in the future, let our children see, his father is not a bad guy, is a former south, north, upright PLA soldiers." Gao Ruxing in his dying moments let his wife sing to him "follow me," the song, his wife choked up and could not sing. The little niece, who had just come from her hometown to take care of him, looked at her uncle with tears in her eyes and said softly, "Uncle, I'll sing you a song." She saw her uncle's head moved slightly, he softly sang "nine nine that sunny day la hey hey yo, eighteen-year-old brother came to the creek ......"

42-year-old Gao Ruxing stepped on his beautiful melody, quietly ...... gone forever......

After the end of the Cultural Revolution, a memorial service for Gao Ruxing was held in Beijing. Representatives of the Wuhan Military Region solemnly declared Gao Ruxing an excellent member of the Chinese ****production party, vindicated him, pushed back all the untruths, and restored his reputation.

My dear little comrade-in-arms, this bright little star, soon faded from the sky, but his beautiful melody, will long to be flown in people's lives, flown in the motherland's sunny skies.

"Love in the Countryside"

Lyrics: Ma Jinghua

Music: Zhang Piqi

December 21, 1979, at the recording site of the episode of the TV landscape film "Legend of the Three Gorges".

Director Ma Jinghua was pacing around anxiously, the film's interlude "Homesickness Song" was unsatisfactory and not refreshing. The composer, Zhang Piji, was suffering from a bad cold at the time, and with five drafts already in progress, he was "almost out of ideas".

Li Guyi, who had just finished recording, stood aside with mixed feelings, saying that the song was high and low, and I was afraid that, apart from professional actors, no one could sing it, and that it would be difficult to popularize it among the masses.

The movie will be broadcast soon, what to do? The company's main goal is to provide the best possible service to the people of China. Zhang Piqi, faced with the opinions of the people, said "either you have to hire someone else". The debate lasted until 3 a.m.

Finally, Song Peifu, then director of CCTV's production department, and Zeng Wenji, then chief sound engineer, suggested that the lyrics and music be overturned and rewritten. So, Li Guyi returned to the Central Orchestra's residence, and Ma Jinghua stayed in the office overnight to write the lyrics. Zhang Piji went home to rest first and rewrote the music after the words were written.

The hard night was briefly quiet. No one expected that this rewrite would lead to an unforeseen uproar.

The song was a hit

A few hours later, at 7 a.m. the next morning, before Zhang Piqi got up, there was a knock on the door to deliver the lyrics that Ma Jinghua had rushed to write overnight.

The 7-year-old daughter handed the lyrics to her bed, and Zhang Piji hurriedly skimmed through them, feeling that they went well. This draft changed the name of the song to "Country Love". The content of the lyrics, is to write Wang Zhaojun left her hometown of zigui, embarked on a long road of peace. The affectionate Wang Zhaojun, step by step, turn back. Hometown mountain ah hometown water, from now on farewell Jiangnan road, life Hu Ma Yi north wind.

Lyrics transformed the landscape of zigui into Zhaojun's loved ones in her mind: "your figure, your song, always reflected in my heart. Yesterday has faded, respectively, difficult to reunite, how can I forget a piece of your deep love ......"

Zhang Piji more and more to see the feeling, the heart sprung the impulse to create, "First of all, the name of the song is good-

Zhang Piji leaned on the bed, humming softly. The well-known composer has written many popular songs before, including the episode of the TV series "The World I've Come Back From" and the title song of CCTV's "Red Sunset" program. Inspired, Zhang Piji flew out of bed and came to the office. More than half an hour later, the tune was ready in a flash.

Zhang Piji said that his position for the song "Country Love" was to be a bit "foreign", and used drums, electric guitars and electronic keyboards, which were rarely used at that time. This was difficult for the staff, because these instruments were banned during the Cultural Revolution and were "bourgeois". In the end, the staff found the drums from the warehouse of the Haijing Opera and Dance Troupe, and also found Chen Zhi, who was the only one who could play the electric guitar at that time.

The night of Dec. 23 was snowy. The scene was vividly depicted in the party's recollections: in the recording studio of the Central People's Broadcasting Station, the beige ceiling and dark brown walls scattered soft light. Li Guyi stood in a corner of the room, wearing a reddish-violet sweater, with a lithe figure and calm demeanor. Everyone held their breath the moment the stringed instruments and electric guitar played through the door.

Li Guyi sang, sincere, euphemistic, plain as words, the staff present were mesmerized. At the end of the piece, Ma Jinghua forgot to issue a command to turn off the tape recorder.

"You're crying!" Zhang Piji saw crystal tears glistening in Li Guyi's eyes. "I remembered my hometown Yuelu Mountain." Li Guyi said.

A little after 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, 1979, China Central Television (CCTV) aired the TV film Legend of the Three Gorges in the prime time slot after the "News Broadcast," and the song "Native Love" accompanied the film.

Shanghai people are the most sensitive. The next day, Jan. 1, 1980, Wen Wei Po sent out a message saying that the song shown in yesterday's CCTV scenery film was very beautiful and was loved by everyone.

In February 1980, "Country Love" was selected for the Beijing People's Broadcasting Station's "Song of the Week". The practice at that time was to play a song every day from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. and from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. in the evening, and teach it while broadcasting it for a whole week.

In an era when television was not yet popular, Song of the Week was particularly influential, and "Country Love" became instantly popular as a result. Zhang Piji remembers that many people were humming the song as they lined up to buy things.

Li Guyi went from being a "new singer" to a "yellow girl"

Who knows, the popularity of "Country Love" turned into a sin, and what happened below is laughable.
