Dance Types

Types of dance include classical dance, modern dance, street dance, Latin dance, children's dance, folk dance and so on.

1, classical dance: classical dance originated from European court dance and ballet, emphasizing elegance, control and skill. It usually includes precise movements and complex body postures.

2. Modern Dance: Modern Dance is a form of freely expressed dance that emphasizes an individual's inner emotions and creativity. It breaks through the limitations of traditional dance, focusing on body lines, space utilization and emotional expression.

3, Street Dance: Street Dance originated from the city streets and black culture, which includes Break Dance, Lock Dance, Breaking and so on. It emphasizes personal style, improvisation and physical skills.

4, Latin Dance: Latin Dance originated in Latin American countries, including Samba, Cha Cha, Rumba and so on. It is characterized by fast-paced music, intense movements and emotional expression.

5. Children's Dance: Children's Dance is usually a dance program designed for children to develop their coordination, sense of music and performance ability. Common children's dances include children's ballet, children's jazz dance and so on.

6. Folk Dance: Folk dance reflects the traditional dance forms of a particular culture or region, with unique dance movements and musical elements. Different countries and regions have their own folk dance, such as China's square dance, India's Kathaka dance and so on.

Basic Dance Skills
