It is the seat of Shouxian county party committee and county government, the political, cultural and economic center of the county, and a national historical and cultural city named after the State Council. Shouchun Town covers a total area of 84.39 square kilometers. Shouchun Town is located in the south bank of the middle reaches of Huaihe River, backed by Bagong Mountain, a historical legend of "one man gets the word, and chickens and dogs ascend to heaven", adjacent to the ancient battlefield of Feishui War in the east and Huainan, a coal city. S203, S30 1 and Hefu Road pass through the territory, with convenient transportation.
Shouchun Town was once the old capital of Chu, with a long history and rich tourism resources. It has well-preserved ancient city walls of the Song Dynasty, the largest Islamic mosque in East China, the Buddhist Heshibi, the Chu Culture Museum, the Queen's Palace in Bagongshan, schools, 0/9 ancient buildings, and ancient tombs such as the King of Chu and the King of Huainan, as well as ancient city sites such as Shouchun. Among them, the ancient city wall and Shouchun City site belong to the national key cultural relics protection units.
