One day, when the king realized that he had become old, and had no one to entrust his country to, and no one to take care of the princesses, he announced to the world that he had three daughters. He realized that he had no one to entrust his kingdom to, and no one to take care of the princesses, so he made it known to the world that I had three princesses, each of whom possessed unparalleled beauty, and whose tears could be transformed into costly diamonds, and that in a month's time, I would gather together all the finest men in the world and let them choose the husbands of their choosing, and the ones who were chosen would be given the chance to inherit my kingdom and my wealth.
In a month's time, in the king's castle, the king's princesses were given a chance to inherit his kingdom and my wealth.
A month later, the king's castle was filled with princes, knights, and sons of the rich from all over the world, all handsome and well-built
They gathered confidently in the palace and waited for the arrival of the princesses
The king arrived at midday with three of his princesses, and in order to welcome the guests from far and wide, the first princess sang a song in a voice as clear as heaven's.
The second princess danced for the guests, and the second princess danced for the guests. The second princess danced for the crowd with a light, graceful step, and the youngest, the little princess, smiled at the crowd and hid behind the king's back, explaining awkwardly that he didn't want to be offended by the fact that the little princess hadn't spoken since she was born, and that she was afraid of strangers
In an effort to win over the princesses, they all showed off their strengths, some of them writing poems and making paintings to give to the first princess, others performing swordplay for the second. Some wrote poems and paintings and gave them to the First Princess, some showed the Second Princess swordplay and horsemanship, and some took out rare and exotic treasures and offered them to the Little Princess. Both the First Princess and the Second Princess were very happy, and they gradually made their own decisions, except for the Little Princess, who remained quietly behind the king. The First Princess chose a prince, and that handsome prince promised that he would conquer the world for her, and carve her name in every castle. The second princess chose the son of a rich man, a clever boy who promised her that he would make a lot of money and build her the most magnificent palace in the world, filled with beautiful treasures. The young princess looked calmly at the men and shook her head, and as the king was about to announce the result, a young shepherd stepped out of the crowd and walked straight up to the young princess and whispered in her ear.
The husband of the first princess used the diamonds he had turned into tears to recruit soldiers, to fight in wars, and to win every battle. Every castle he conquered had the name of the first princess engraved on it, and the name of the first princess became a household name, and she felt very happy
The husband of the second princess used the diamonds he had turned into tears to pay for his business, and it grew. Of course, once the business got so big, he didn't need the diamonds, and being the son of a merchant, and a born merchant, he soon amassed a fortune, and although he hadn't yet built the grandest palace in the world, the Second Princess was satisfied, and she felt happy
The youngest Princess, ever since that day, when she left the King's castle with the shepherd, had traveled the world, and when she found a paradise of beautiful scenery, she settled down and lived in a beautiful place. It took the shepherds half a month to build a big house out of wood and straw, and to make a lot of furniture. They planted a lot of vegetables behind the house, and made a fence around the vegetable patch. The little princess transplanted all the beautiful flowers she saw into her own garden, and even though she didn't know what they were called, she was very happy when she saw them every day, and in the evenings, they sat by the lake and fished, or counted the stars. In the evenings, they would sit by the lake and fish or count the stars. They were always poor, but they lived happily. Little by little, the little princess began to talk, and she spoke to the shepherd alone, telling him everything. The clouds in the sky, the fish in the river, the bird's nests in the trees, the butterflies on her head, the shepherd used to sit by the lake, listening quietly to her, until the little princess fell asleep from all the stories she told him, and then he took her back to her room.
The king was ill and he sent for the three princesses and their husbands. He was surprised to find the little princesses and their husbands dressed in neat and tidy clothes with patches, and he wondered why they were so poor, knowing that a single tear from the little princesses could buy a dress store. The shepherd said, "Because I never let her cry." The king immediately decided to give the shepherd the throne, but perhaps everyone has their own idea of what happiness is. Perhaps everyone has their own understanding of what happiness is, but only the shepherd knows what it means to be cherished. The king asked the little princess, "What did the shepherd say to you back then?" The little princess said, "He whispered in my ear, "Even if your tears could be transformed into the most expensive diamonds, I'd rather spend my whole life in poverty and destitution than allow you to cry."
The most precious tears are not the ones that can be transformed into diamonds, but the ones that won't fall, because the one who cherishes you won't let you cry.
