Can dumbbell squat practice bouncing?

Dumbbell squat is mainly to practice explosive force and speed, which was also practiced in our school's physical education major before. It should also help rebound.

I think it's better to practice height, because I have experience. Practicing for a month or two will definitely improve my jumping ability. Before I practiced, I could only touch the hoop with my fingertips, but then I could hold the hoop firmly with both hands.
