Yingkou is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province and an important port city in Liaoning coastal economic belt, which is located in the south of Northeast China, the center of Liaodong Peninsula, the east coast of Bohai Sea and the mouth of Daliao River. Yingkou is one of the cradles of human civilization. The ancient human site of Jinniushan about 280,000 years ago witnessed the earliest civilization in Liaohe River Basin.
