Recommended tourist attractions in Lingqiu

The recommended scenic spots of Lingqiu are: Zhao Wuling Tomb, Taohua Mountain, Tanghe Park, Upper yanhe village, Qu Hui Temple and Lingqiu County Museum.

1, Tomb of King Wuling of Zhao

Located in the west section of Xinhua West Street in Lingqiu County, the name of Lingqiu County comes from this. The cemetery is covered with trees and grass. After rebuilding the archway and the tomb mound, the Wu Mausoleum is more magnificent, and now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province.

2. Taohua Mountain

Located in the area of Shahumen Village, Hongshileng Township, southeast of Lingqiu, the spring water at the foot of the mountain runs and the peach blossoms are in full bloom. After millions of years, a series of natural caves have been formed naturally, mainly peach blossom caves and bat caves. Taohua Cave is located at the elevation of1900m on Taohua Mountain.

3. Tanghe Park

Located in Lingqiu County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, it is the largest park in Lingqiu County, located on both sides of the Tanghe River in the south of the county. There are fitness parks, playgrounds, basketball courts, pavilions and other facilities in the park. From North Park to South Park via Feihongqiao, vegetation and trees are abundant. Walking on the cement road or the gravel road, taking a breath and taking a look at the flowers and plants in different shapes makes people feel relaxed and sighed.

Located in Nanshan District, Lingqiu County, with convenient transportation, it is adjacent to the main highway of our county in the west. The village lives on the banks of the Tang River, with abundant water resources and mild climate, with an altitude of 720 meters and a frost-free period of 165 days.

5. Qu Hui Temple

Also known as Waihui Temple, it is located in Qu Hui Temple Village, the third floor southwest of Lingqiu County, Datong City, Shanxi Province, and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Qu Hui Temple was founded in 773 AD (the 21st year of Kaiyuan), which was built by the famous Zen master Gan Hui. It is the lower house of Wutai Mountain Buddhist Temple, which is closely related to Wutai Mountain Zen Buddhist Temple and has a rare scale.

6. Lingqiu County Museum

Located in Lingqiu County, Shaanxi Province, the museum now displays more than 3 10 pieces of cultural relics, which are divided into eight parts: the origin of civilization, county prosperity, eternal Buddha singing, mountain fires, a brief history of Yanyun, old revolutionary areas, romantic heroes and present glory.
