What subjects do you take in the fitness personal trainer certificate exam?

There are three subjects in the personal trainer certificate examination of fitness instructor: physical fitness, practical exercise and theory.

Physical fitness test requirements:

Boys: Sit for 5 seconds, 40 push-ups and 60 squats with bare hands.

Female students: static stretching for 5 seconds, 15 push-ups, 40 squats with bare hands.

You can take the theoretical exam only after passing, and you will fail directly after passing!

Theoretical examination contents: sports nutrition, sports anatomy, sports physiology, sports planning principles, health and fitness, etc. These theoretical knowledge is the basis of learning advanced skills, especially sports anatomy, and also the basic knowledge of learning sports rehabilitation skills in the later stage.

The theoretical examination time is 90 minutes, and the computer answers the questions.

Practice test content (topic selection form):

Resistance training technique (12 muscle)

Muscles: quadriceps femoris, gluteus maximus, biceps femoris, gastrocnemius, trapezius (upper, middle and lower bundles), erector spinae, latissimus dorsi, rectus abdominis, pectoralis major, deltoid (front, middle and back bundles), biceps brachii and triceps brachii (long head, medial head and lateral head).

Resistance forms: load-bearing equipment, free weight (barbells, dumbbells) and self-weight, which are completed by the equipment designated by the evaluator.

Stretching exercise (13 muscle)

Muscles: quadriceps femoris, gluteus maximus, biceps femoris, gastrocnemius, iliopsoas, trapezius (upper, middle and lower bundles), erector spinae, latissimus dorsi, rectus abdominis (without passive stretching), pectoralis major (upper, middle and lower bundles), deltoid (front, middle and rear bundles) and biceps brachii.

Exercise forms: active stretching and passive stretching.

Aerobic exercise technique

Exercise form: aerobic exercise equipment (treadmill, elliptical machine, stepping machine, stationary bicycle)

Finally, through all post-evaluation evidence collection processes:

15- 30 days after the results are announced, the State Sports General Administration and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly seal and print the certificate. After the certificate is printed, it will be distributed directly to the appraisal stations, and each appraisal station will notify the candidates to receive or mail the certificate. It takes a long time to get a license, about two or three months.
