Ll fitness

As I grow older, I find that there are more and more friends around me who love sports. Exercise can not only keep fit, but also make us better physically and mentally.

In fact, the benefits of sports are not limited to these. According to brain scientists, exercise can also make the brain grow more new neurons, which means that exercise can make people more "smart" physically.

However, it should be noted that although exercise can make the brain grow new neurons, these neurons need to develop axons and dendrites to form real nerve cells.

Therefore, it is very important to arrange activities and stimulate the environment after exercise. The effective mode is as follows: high-intensity and difficult mental activities, such as reading, solving problems, writing, etc., are carried out within one or two hours after exercise. Or do physical activities with complex skills, such as dancing. You can also participate in different social activities, such as meeting new environments or people. This can stimulate new neurons and keep growing. In other words, after exercise, the brain needs to be tested and challenged to make itself smarter. Of course, it is necessary to adhere to the "exercise+learning" model, because it usually takes 28 days for new neurons to grow and mature.

This view is quite new, reflect on yourself: after exercise, I lack the consciousness and habit of active learning. Because I feel a little tired after exercise, I want to relax myself, often brush my mobile phone and chat with my friends. These are all things that don't need brains. It's really a pity that those hard-won neurons dissipated immediately, so we also missed the opportunity to become smart. This opportunity must not be lost in the future.

When we assign tasks to students, we might as well put complex learning content after exercise. Of course, we should also urge students and children not to study indoors all day, but always drive them out to run and jump before studying, so that the learning effect will be better.

Pay attention to science when exercising. Effective exercise is not high-intensity torture or going through the motions, but an appropriate heart rate (it is recommended to keep the heart rate between 60% and 80%). This kind of running can keep the body on the edge of the comfort zone, and exercising for half an hour every day can produce good results. If you can't stand this intensity, you can also run and walk alternately.

If you want to get better results, you can combine complex movements. For example, after aerobic warm-up for ten minutes, do yoga and dance. Because these complex activities can involve all nerve cells in the brain, the more complex the connection between activities and complex neurites, the denser the growth of synapses will be.

Exercise makes us healthier and stronger. Its greater significance lies not only in fitness, but also in brain health. It not only makes us more optimistic, but also makes our thinking more flexible, thus improving our health and cognitive level.

It is often said that the body and soul must have one on the road. Now it is more inclined to say that the soul must be on the road if it wants to go far.
