After nearly two years of renovation, Longtan West Lake Park reopened last year. With Jing Ya's natural parks and quiet landscapes, it will return to public view. Longtan West Lake Park was built in 1986, located in the second ring road in the southeast of Beijing, and is one of the three major parks in longtan lake. The water surface area is about 5. 15 hectares, showing the landscape layout of land and water. The park landscape was upgraded in May 20021year, and reopened in June last year 1 1 year.
Walking into Longtan West Lake Park, with the lake as the center and surrounded by water, it has a strong garden artistic conception. During the reconstruction, the original main road around the lake was retained and updated to a red asphalt pavement with a width of 3 meters, which improved the comfort of tourists walking and jogging, and combined with the fitness facilities on both sides, a characteristic walking ring was formed.
In order to facilitate visitors to get close to plants and watch birds, a pro-Shui Mu plank road with a length of188m was built on the basis of the original hydrophilic trail. Relying on the lake, science popularization billboards reflecting various animals and plants were set up, and a 660-meter waterfront science popularization ring was formed along the lake, which became the highlight of the natural ecological science popularization tour in the whole park.
At the same time, the upgrading of the park also pays attention to humanized design, with facilities such as children's play bunkers, elderly arcades and barrier-free ramps. Meet the needs of different users and reflect the characteristics of the elderly-friendly park. With the restoration of Longtan West Lake Park, the three parks running through Longtan Three Lakes are all open with their own characteristics.
