The most amazing China architecture of the year.

202 1 The top ten most impressive architectural projects are from China, four of which are in Shanghai, including the recently popular punch-in points for network celebrities and some relatively small and little-known rural buildings. What exactly are there? Let's have a look!

Fengxian New Town-Life Station Life Station was designed by Steven Holl, one of the representatives of contemporary American architects.

As a "social container", the life post encloses the surrounding newly-built residential quarters and Punan Yanhe Park into a public space. Overlooking the nearby high-rise buildings, because Sedum plants are planted on the roof, at first glance, the two buildings are almost integrated with the park landscape.

It combines the concepts of "cloud and time", such as the clock-shaped circular landscape trail around the central public space and the opening of cloud-like buildings that invite the public to open, so that you can experience the feeling of being in the clouds!

The living station adopts a white porous concrete outer wall, suspended on a transparent glass base, and the curved ramp landscape continues to the second floor space, providing a bird's-eye experience for the public. In the future, there will be exhibition areas, gyms, youth activity areas and other multi-functional spaces.

Shanghai Qingpu Pinghe Bilingual School is different from the practice of gathering all the learning spaces in one building. Shanghai Qingpu Pinghe Bilingual School adopts various forms of single building settlement, and the core building of this settlement is Pinghe Book Theater named "Blue Whale" (below).

Pinghe Book Theater is a large library with 500 professional theaters and 150 black box theater, which are creatively combined in one building. Some children say it looks like a blue whale, while others say it looks like a giant ship. Unique architectural form and free space can not only cultivate children's interest in reading and performing, but also let their imagination roam freely in the ocean of knowledge.

In order to avoid the boredom of children staying in a house all the year round, designers abandoned the popular campus mega-structure buildings in recent years, disassembled and reassembled the functions in the original design book, and formed settlements composed of single buildings.

Shanghai Planetarium The Shanghai Planetarium was designed by ThomasJ, a design partner of Enid Architects.

Wong design is committed to creating an immersive experience, allowing visitors to directly interact with various astronomical phenomena, and enhancing people's understanding of the basic relationship between the sun and the earth's orbital motion through careful handling of scale, shape and light. As a branch of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Shanghai Planetarium is also the largest astronomical theme museum in the world.

A large number of arc-shaped designs are used in the periphery of the building, and spiral green belts are introduced to symbolize the curvaceous beauty of celestial bodies: this aesthetic feeling can be seen in the center of the atrium, the skylight at the entrance and the planetary spheres in the planetarium. The whole planetarium and its three main buildings-circular skylight, inverted dome and planetarium sphere * * * explain the basic laws of celestial bodies (sun, moon and stars).

Henderson Xuhui Tiandi designers hope to create a unique and unpredictable walking experience. The building is perfectly embedded in the local urban texture, and the beige facade constitutes the two entrances of Madang Road and Danshui Road. The public can get a glimpse of the unique light and color inside, as well as the lush vegetation. The ubiquitous flowers, shrubs and green plants cover the whole building in a piece of green, forming a horizontal and vertical multidimensional garden, where citizens can feel the blooming of flowers and the changes of seasons.
