Background information of national youth campus aerobics competition.

In order to actively promote the development of sunshine sports for hundreds of millions of students in China and promote quality education in an all-round way, the Department of Sports Health and Art Education of the Ministry of Education organized experts to compile a series of campus aerobics for teenagers aged 16-22 in April 2006. The content includes aerobics and cheerleading. Every kind of aerobics has a basic routine and a performance competitive routine, and has undergone rigorous scientific experiments in physiology, psychology and sociology to ensure that most school-age students like it and can learn it. The presentation carriers of teaching materials are DVD, wall charts and teachers' books. Each routine is designed with three modules: decomposition action, basic team action and group performance action of formation change. The flip chart also provides an explanation for each action to facilitate teaching and learning.
