Why is the square dance gradually decreasing now?

According to my experience in Harbin and the northeast cities I have stayed in, square dance has not decreased, and of course it has not developed so vigorously when it first came out. I think there may be two reasons. First, the old people who used to be keen on square dance are old and not suitable for square dance, and the young people are not keen on square dance. Second, everyone likes the new and hates the old. Square dance has existed for so many years, and some square dance lovers are tired of it, so they don't dance.
