Experience of learning from Tai Ji Chuan

It's a coincidence that I chose Tai Chi as my physical education class in Senior Two. In the first semester, the teacher taught us 24-style Tai Ji Chuan, and in the second semester, he taught us 32-style Tai Ji Chuan. I always thought Tai Chi was easy to learn before class, because when I saw the old people playing Tai Chi in parks or other places, I always felt that the movements were quite simple. It's my turn, only to find that it's hard to standardize the movements. And the teacher is a senior teacher who has practiced in Tai Ji Chuan for many years. His movements are very standardized, and Tai Chi is very beautiful. This makes us children who have just come into contact with Tai Chi feel even more ashamed. Next, I will talk about my experience in learning Tai Ji Chuan and Taiji Sword respectively. Tai Ji Chuan:

1, learn a style and practice a style.

We have two physical education class classes a week, and the teacher will teach one or two Tai Ji Chuan moves in each class. At first, I thought it wouldn't be too difficult, so I put Tai Chi aside after class. Until the next class, I found that I had almost forgotten the previous movements, and I was a little nervous. The teacher has always stressed that I should learn one-on-one review, but we lazy children just don't listen, and we don't feel nervous until the final exam is coming, so we just strengthen our after-school exercises. There are some regrets here, because I could have learned Tai Chi better, but I couldn't learn Tai Chi well because of my study, activities and laziness. Learning and practicing a style is the most effective learning method.

2. Combination of learning and application, focusing on practice.

How to learn? It is to watch the actions taught by the teacher in class and search videos on the Internet after class, listen to the contents and actions explained step by step, watch them carefully and imitate them repeatedly. Study hard, practice and cherish this rare learning opportunity. Only in this way will we take fewer detours. I feel that some contents and actions in the video are different from those in the class. That's because Tai Chi has been handed down from ancient times. After so long, everyone has their own unique views on Tai Chi, so various factions of Tai Chi will be formed. The action of Tai Chi is naturally different, but it doesn't matter. If we can explore carefully, we may even create Tai Ji Chuan with our own unique ideas. Of course, practice. If you don't practice, you won't have your own experience, and you won't understand what the teacher is saying. My experience is that you need to study repeatedly and practice continuously to find problems and correct actions, to get into the state and to have good results.

3, hierarchical learning, simplifying, easy to learn.

I feel that the teacher's teaching methods are particularly good, and it is precisely for this reason that I, a person who knows nothing about Tai Ji Chuan, can probably master the Twenty-four Tai Ji Chuan in such a short time. On the first day of practicing warm-up, I can't concentrate on myself, and I will be distracted if I move a little, but I must concentrate on practicing Tai Chi, so that I can finally calm down and play Tai Chi through breathing and other adjustment methods. When practicing, you must recite it step by step, and of course you must contact it before and after. Some movements seem difficult, so we should simplify them and try to make them easy to remember and learn. Taiji sword:

With the first semester of Taiji Biography, I seem to have a general understanding of Taiji, which is very helpful for me to learn Taiji Sword. In the practice of Taiji sword, the combination of God and mind, mind and body, body and sword is required. Body posture and swordsmanship should be integrated into a harmonious whole. If you can't just meet the requirements of lively gesticulations, you must try your best to focus on shaping actions. This will make the whole set look good, even as exercise, you should try to ask yourself this.

Thirty-two Tai Chi Sword is a representative thirty-two moves selected from Yang Tai Chi Sword, including drawing, taking, lifting, stabbing, pointing and splitting. It is easy to learn and remember, with clear route, accurate swordsmanship and standardized movements. It takes 3 or 4 minutes to complete a set. Playing Tai Chi sword is a bit like playing Tai Ji Chuan, because with the foundation of Tai Ji Chuan, you can learn it better and faster.

My study method is to listen to the teacher's explanation in class and watch Li Deyin recite "Thirty-two Tai Chi Sword" after class. There are more detailed words and charts on it. Then watch his video teaching on the internet, plus the teacher's correction in class, and then practice repeatedly. I think it's good to practice with my friends, because sometimes my feelings and understanding of movements are inaccurate, especially in swordsmanship and direction and route. I can point out mistakes with my friends and help us learn Tai Chi sword. But my requirements for fencing are not completely clear, and I need long-term practice and serious research. This Tai Chi culture is also profound, and it is not easy to master it. You should also prepare well and study hard.

After a semester, I probably learned the 32-style Taijiquan, and I feel very fulfilled. Sometimes I play a few tricks to show off in the morning exercise and feel happy while exercising.

I would like to thank Mr. Chen for his patient and meticulous guidance over the past year, and thank the teacher for not letting us down and teaching us patiently all the time.
