Can you still exercise when you are 50 years old?

A 50-year-old woman will face many physical problems, such as joint diseases, decreased muscle strength, slow metabolism, obesity and even osteoporosis, as well as psychological problems, such as anxiety, irritability and sleep disorders. So how to alleviate or prevent these problems? I tell you from my personal experience that strength training should be a very effective way.

Because I started fitness after I was 47 years old, doing strength training and aerobic training. Now I am 50 years old and feel good about myself. I have no symptoms such as osteoporosis, backache, knee pain, hot flashes and palpitations. I think it's all because of my strength training.

Don't think that strength training is just pulling iron. Some women think that pulling iron will grow muscles and make them look like King Kong Barbie. Actually, you worry too much. I have been practicing for three years, and now no muscle is particularly prominent except the vest line and the symmetrical muscle lines on the limbs. We know that hormones, protein and heavy stimulation are particularly important for long muscles. Therefore, how can a woman become a King Kong Barbie if she only aims at fitness, does not specially supplement protein, does not have heavy stimulation, and her hormone level is not enough? Just rest assured and practice boldly.

When I first started practicing, I started from my own weight, such as squats, push-ups and supine leg lifts. It is suggested that babies who have just started practicing should also start from their own weight and step by step, so that the effect will be better.

For strength training, the benefits I have personally realized so far are:

1, maintain normal metabolism of the body. If your metabolism is normal and not slow, you won't be restricted from eating.

2, keep in good shape and be young. Strength training can keep muscles from losing, firm and elastic, and make them look younger as a whole.

3. Strength training can protect joints and prevent osteoporosis.

Strength training can also relieve menopausal symptoms and make you feel better.

If you have friends of this age, you might as well try it, which also has a certain effect on delaying aging.
