Since 200 1, the International Labour Organization has designated April 28th of each year as "World Safety in Production and Health Day" and regarded it as the official commemoration day of the United Nations. The purpose of setting up World Safe Production and Health Day is to commemorate the dead and injured workers, and at the same time to publicize work safety and avoid and prevent every worker who is engaged in labor from being injured and sick.
Significance of World Safety Production and Health Day
World Safe Production and Health Day aims to commemorate the dead and injured workers, promote the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases around the world, and reduce work-related casualties. We must take actions in all countries and enterprises in the world to achieve this goal, and encourage every worker to actively participate in the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases and stay away from injuries and diseases.
