Mobile phone GPS positioning needs hardware module support, battery support and open software to complete positioning. Therefore, after the general mobile phone is turned off, these brackets are closed, so it is naturally impossible to locate the mobile phone.
The same is true for positioning through wifi. Wifi requires a network connection. After the phone is turned off, it will not be connected to any wifi signal and will not be tracked again. Generally, the mobile phone is not connected to the internet after being turned off, so as long as it is turned off, neither of the above two methods can track and locate the mobile phone.
Mobile phone tracking and positioning methods include:
1, GPS positioning:
Partners are very clear, that is, all kinds of navigation we often use. The positioning accuracy of this method is very high, accurate to more than ten meters or even several meters, but it needs the support of hardware GPS module and the opening of mobile phone software to locate.
2.wifi positioning:
Just like our mobile phones, in fact, each wifi hotspot (router) has a unique Mac address. When the mobile phone turns on wifi, it will scan and collect the wifi signals of the surrounding routers (whether it is strong or weak, whether it can be displayed or not, as long as it is available), and upload their location information to the server to form a huge hotspot location database.
The server then retrieves the geographical location of each wifi hotspot, and then calculates the geographical location of the mobile phone according to the strength of the signal. This is wifi positioning.
3, base station positioning:
Base station positioning is generally ground positioning, which is carried out by mobile phone. Generally speaking, as long as you calculate the signal difference between the three base stations, you can judge the approximate location of your mobile phone. In other words, as long as your mobile phone has a signal, others can track your location by seeing which base station has contacted your mobile phone.
And each SIM card has a unique identity code (phone number). When your mobile phone is connected to the base station signal, these data will be recorded and uploaded. As long as others know which base station your mobile phone has been connected to recently, they can also judge the geographical location of the mobile phone with an accuracy of several hundred meters.
