Connotation of "National Students' Physical Health Standard"

The connotation of "National Students' Physical Health Standard" is an evaluation standard to measure students' physical health status and exercise effect, a basic requirement of the state for students of different ages, and a personalized evaluation standard for students' physical health.

The concept of health includes physical health, mental health and social adaptation. The National Standards for Students' Physical Health covers the category of students' physical health closely related to school physical education. In order to clarify its connotation and avoid being confused with the three-dimensional concept of health, physique is used as the attribute of health to express its connotation.

The purpose of this standard is to establish and improve the national monitoring and evaluation mechanism of students' physical health, and encourage students to actively participate in physical exercise. The Ministry of Education issued the "National Standards for Students' Physical Fitness and Health" (revised 20 14), requiring all schools to carry out the "Standards" test covering all grades of the school every year, and score according to the students' total academic year scores. Only students with good or above grades can participate in the awards.

In order to ensure students' physical health and promote students' physical exercise activities, the National Standards for Students' Physical Health is formulated. Through the implementation of the standards, students' physical health can be effectively monitored and evaluated, students can be guided to actively participate in physical exercise activities, and their physical quality can be improved. The implementation of the Standards is also conducive to promoting the development of school physical education, improving the quality of physical education courses and promoting the all-round development of students.

"National Students' Physical Health Standard" test item;

1, Body Shape Test: Height and weight are commonly used indicators to reflect body shape, and students' growth, development and nutritional status can be known through measurement. Height and body mass index (BMI) are also commonly used indexes. The calculation method is weight (kg) divided by the square of height (m), which can be used to evaluate students' obesity and nutritional status.

2. Physical function test: vital capacity is an important indicator reflecting the function of respiratory system, and students' vital capacity and lung function can be understood through the test. 50-meter running is a common index to test students' speed and explosive power, which can reflect students' sports ability and physical quality.

3. Physical fitness test: Standing long jump is a common index to test students' explosive power and physical coordination, which can reflect students' leg strength and jumping ability. Pull-ups are commonly used indicators to test students' upper limb strength and physical coordination, which can reflect students' muscle strength and athletic ability. Sit-ups are commonly used indicators to test students' waist and abdominal muscle strength and body coordination, which can reflect students' abdominal muscle strength and body control ability.
