Encourage breastfeeding
Actively publicize the advantages of breastfeeding, eliminate all kinds of interference factors, and encourage mothers from pregnancy to lactation to increase their confidence in breastfeeding.
(2) Improve the health of nursing mothers
Ensure reasonable nutrition, proper exercise, adequate sleep and pleasant spirit. The indoor air is fresh, avoiding all kinds of harmful chemical factors.
(3) to guide the correct breastfeeding.
1. Normal newborns can breastfeed after birth. After delivery, the mother and the baby should share the same room, put the baby naked on the mother's chest for skin contact (not less than 30 minutes), and suck the nipple in the same room to promote the early secretion and more secretion of maternal milk.
2. Prepare for cleaning before feeding, including changing the baby's diaper, washing the mother's hands and cleaning the nipple. Different postures can be adopted when feeding, mainly to make the mother's posture comfortable and relax the whole body muscles, so as to facilitate the discharge of milk. Generally speaking, it is advisable to sit down. When holding the baby, the head and shoulders lean on the elbow of the mother's nursing side, so that the baby's mouth can hold the nipple and most of the areola without blocking the nose. The mother's other thumb and four fingers are placed above and below the breast respectively. When feeding, the whole breast is raised, so pay attention to the baby's sucking and swallowing. When the milk flows too fast, and the baby has a cough and galactorrhea, you can hold the milk with your middle finger when eating, and take the feeding posture of "scissors difference" on both sides. Try to empty one breast at a time, then feed it to the other side, and eat the unexposed side first when breastfeeding next time.
After feeding, hold the baby straight, put his head on his mother's shoulder, pat his back to let the air out, and then keep him lying on his right side to prevent vomiting.
3. Before the baby's full moon, advocate breastfeeding on demand to promote milk secretion. With the growth of the baby, the amount of breast milk gradually increases, so you can start feeding regularly, usually once every 3 hours for 2 months, 7~8 times day and night; About 6 times in March-April. Breastfeeding time 15~20min each time.
4. Breast-feeding mothers suffer from anxiety and dullness. Land infectious diseases such as hepatitis and tuberculosis, or serious heart, liver and kidney diseases are not suitable for feeding.
(4) Assess the feeding situation-
1. Ask the nursing mother about the nursing time, mainly to know whether to breastfeed on demand, the number of times to breastfeed in 24 hours, the duration of each time, whether to breastfeed at night, whether to delay breastfeeding and accumulate milk, and whether to add water and other dairy products to the baby after two feedings.
2. Observe whether the posture of mother and baby is comfortable and correct when feeding.
3. Understand the general situation of both mother and baby, such as the wet nurse's diet and liquid intake, the baby's weight, sleep and excretion. The baby has plenty of milk, which means that every time he feeds, he can hear the sound of swallowing milk, and then he falls asleep quietly after feeding. Have 1 time soft stool every day, more or less times, and urinate more than ten times; The child's weight will be measured 1 time every week in the first two months after birth, and then it will be measured 1 time every two weeks and every month, and the child's weight will increase at a normal speed.
4. Prevention and treatment of breast and nipple diseases If there is nipple depression, massage the nipple, or suck it out with a breast pump, or suck it with a breast pump, and feed it with a bottle after proper heating; If there is a nipple laceration, rinse it with warm water, expose it, dry it, apply a little lanolin, and feed it with a nipple sleeve; If you have mastitis, don't breast-feed the affected side for the time being, but you should regularly discharge milk and actively treat it.
5. Guiding weaning is a process from completely relying on milk feeding to food diversification. With the growth of the baby, breast milk can no longer meet the needs of the child's growth and development, and all the functions of the baby's cows are gradually adapted to non-liquid food, so complementary food is usually added from April to June after birth to prepare for complete weaning; Weaning time is usually 10~ 12 months after birth, gradually reducing breastfeeding times and increasing complementary food. In case of summer heat or infant diseases, it is necessary to delay weaning, but generally not more than 1.5 years old.
