Zhang called the old man for vaccination. Can patients with basic diseases be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine?

As a new vaccine to prevent COVID-19 virus infection, COVID-19 vaccine, like hepatitis B virus vaccine and meningococcal virus vaccine, has different degrees of adverse reactions. There is still a lack of understanding of some unknown adverse reactions and side effects, so not everyone in the world can be vaccinated. Can patients with basic diseases be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine? Let's just say that people in one of the following situations should not be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine:

1. People with incurable acute diseases or serious chronic diseases that cannot be effectively controlled should not be vaccinated. For example, despite taking medicine, hypertension patients still maintain their blood pressure above 160/90mmHg; Diabetic patients whose fasting blood glucose can not be controlled below 7 mmol/L should not be vaccinated. People with chronic diseases of the immune system should not be vaccinated.

2. Those with a history of drug and vaccine allergy, those with abnormal liver and kidney function, such as those with active chronic hepatitis B, and those with a history of epilepsy and mental illness should not be vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccine is not recommended for people with nervous system diseases (such as epilepsy, edematous encephalopathy and convulsion) and people with hereditary or family history diseases. People with allergic reaction, oral chemotherapy or immunosuppressive drugs and severe organ failure cannot be vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccine.

3. Pregnant women, lactating women and women who have been pregnant for less than six months should not be vaccinated for the time being.

4. People with low immunity are prone to get sick. If they suffer from certain diseases (such as colds), COVID-19 vaccination is not recommended. It is best to get COVID-19 vaccine after the disease is cured. Because the human body's ability to resist the invasion of pathogenic microorganisms may also decline during illness, it may not be easy to stimulate the body to produce enough antibodies at this time, thus affecting the vaccination effect.

Patients with basic diseases, no matter what kind of vaccine they are vaccinated, should be informed of their real medical history, daily medication and post-medication control, which can neither be concealed nor exaggerated. Only in this way can doctors correctly judge whether patients are suitable for vaccination.
