About two years ago, I worked in a company involved in visa processing and medical beauty consultation. The product manager of the company is responsible for the launch and promotion of the company's cosmetic APP in Korea. At that time, I went to work at 8: 30 every morning, and the product manager would pull people from the editorial department, technical department and customer service department over for a meeting. The content of the meeting is to discuss how to carry out the next step and pay a return visit to the previous day's work. In fact, after the company's project is decided, the daily work content of others is basically the same.
The technical department is responsible for developing APP, writing programs every day, debugging programs and so on. The editorial department is responsible for filling in some contents in the background and updating the content of the website. The customer service department is responsible for receiving customers and recording information about visa application and cosmetic consultation. South Korea's cosmetic APP is actually a project proposed by the product manager himself, and then this project was passed by the leader. The product manager pulls the whole office for a meeting every day, which lasts for two hours. That posture seems to be developing a world-class APP.
Two months later, the development of cosmetic APP in Korea came to an end. As a result, there was a problem in the synchronization between the website and the APP, and some content published by the website could not be synchronized directly to the APP. You must recharge it on the APP. At that time, it happened that the leader had another task to redevelop a similar app. As a result, the cosmetic APP that the product manager planned to launch in Korea died directly. In other words, the product manager kept everyone in the office busy for two months.
When the product manager said this decision, my first reaction was "Is this a joke?" I was dumbfounded that such an unreliable thing should appear.
