Different people in different periods, although the shape of their normal breasts is diverse, their contours are always round, and their outer edge curves remain smooth and flat from any angle. If there is a defect or bulge in any part of this geometric curve and contour, it means that there may be a breast lesion there.
Small and flat nipples are also abnormal.

The self-checking method is as follows:
1. Check the shower:
When taking a bath, put soap on your chest first to facilitate sliding inspection. 2. Check in front of the mirror:
Stand in front of the mirror and hang down your hands to see if your breasts are normal. Does the nipple have depression, skin shrinkage and swelling? Gently pinch the nipple to secrete? Then check the armpit for swollen lymph glands. Finally, put your hands above your head and do it repeatedly.
3. Lie flat and check:
On the supine bed, those with full breasts can put a small head or a folded towel under the left shoulder, let the left hand rest on the back of the head, put the fingers of the right hand together and straighten, and gently press the left breast for small circle massage. At this time, you can think of the breast as a clock face, check it clockwise (or counterclockwise, but the direction must be unified) from the position of 12 to the origin, and massage it for at least 3 times. According to the above method, use your left hand instead of checking your right breast.
Key points of inspection points:
1. Fingering: Touch your fingers while keeping them together.
2. Scope: including subclavian, sternal midline, inferior costal line and armpit, all of which are the scope of examination. Finally, gently pinch the nipple with your thumb and forefinger to check for secretions.
